I would definitely recommend this hotel for single travellers and families
Pros:

The hotel was in the perfect position away from the crowds but not far from the main area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was exceptional

Cons:

My room was facing the road which could be a little noisy at times

Good stay on day of floods
Pros:

Comfortable room. I was there on the day when 52mm of rain fell and the kitchen flooded. Sadly this meant I couldn’t have a cooked breakfast but staff very kind and made up a sandwich

Bed was way too soft, pretty uncomfortable night.
Kitchen flooded with rain water in the morning, so no cooked breakfast available.

Good food, good drink, good seep and good breakfast. What more could we ask for.
Pros:

Our evening meal was exceptional washed down with a great pint of Guiness. The room was great and the breakfast excellent. Love the beer garden at the rear and fully intend to revisit soon.

Cons:

The accommodation was faultless.
