Parking n site. Warm greeting on arrival. Very comfortable and stylish bedroom.

Pros:

Lovely clean room, all the staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother. The hotel is in a great location close to restaurants, pubs, parks, shops and only a 5 minute drive to the start of the Peak District.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Staff we very friendly man on reception and then lady both very helpful ,

Cons:

Location was a further away from City than expected as listed as close to city centre so we thought could walk , but was too far for us to walk

Not the best, but not the worst
Pros:

Stayed here previously a few years ago. The room was clean … so that was nice. I think the menu has changed a lot (quite expensive and only on at certain times of the day) … whereas the other menu you could order food all the time (I would have certainly ordered something, but the kitchen was closed when I wanted something) … There is a recommended chef there, but I saw him scratch his head and then handled the food … so .. a no from me! .. The room wasn’t serviced at all … no coffee or tea bags replenished for the two nights we stayed and had to use the same towels again!! However, on a positive note … they do give you £10.00 off with like Monopoly money notes that can be used at the bar 👌

A lovely visit to the Psalter - will be back!
Pros:

Good location if heading out to the Peak District. Lovely bar area and room was comfortable. We received 2x £5 vouchers to use on food or drink which was so appreciated. Staff were super friendly.

Cons:

Bed was a little hard for my partner but we still slept well

Pros:

Location, free on site parking, very friendly staff, Michelin star food at a reasonable price, clean room with quality tea and coffee facilities.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about. We were happy.
