Would stay there again
Pros:

The location.
The evening meals were enjoyable as were the beverages. Also. Nice to sit outside when the sun shines.

Cons:

We were allocated room 2. We were shown the room and took occupation.
Later in the day. Several attempts to gain access to our room were made using a key. Non were successful. Later We found out why. There are no numbers on the bedroom doors??

Breakfast was interesting. Arriving downstairs to empty tables. When asked by the waitress, what I wanted for breakfast, I asked for wholemeal toast, two poached eggs, two rashers of bacon and a cup of coffee. Which is exactly what I got. Unfortunately, she didn’t cotton-on to the other necessary requirements. Like, salt and pepper, butter, marmalade, sugar, a side plate and an extra knife to spread the butter and eventually, marmalade, which I had forgotten to ask for. That needs sorting urgently.

A great find, highly recommended
Pros:

Family room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Lovely selection of tea, coffee and snacks. Included breakfast was also very good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable and friendly place to stay.
Pros:

I like the location and the comfortable room and the fact that there is a fridge in the room for fresh milk

Cons:

My room wasn’t serviced on one of the days and there was no fresh milk on arrival or teaspoons in the room.

Great way to catch up with friends, perfect location and layout of rooms.
Pros:

Loved the location, friendly staff and fabulous room. There were of us. We shared the family suite; 1 huge king size bedroom, 1 separate twin room, both had seating and overlooking the square and a very clean and airy bathroom. Perfect for a girlie friend stopover.

Cons:

Could of done with a vanity unit in bedrooms, but just being picky now!

Hugely satisfying, great staff.

Overpriced and disappointing
Pros:

Central in Sherborne, comfortable bed

Cons:

Huge amounts of dead flies in the room, with a smell of sewage. No apologies when raised with the staff, and they just opened the windows. Breakfast was reheated and very poor. Bells from local church ring every 15 minutes and neither me nor my colleague was able to sleep with the noise.

Very central location. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Very noisy. Bed was hard and not very comfortable. The window had to be propped open to get air in and then the street noise and morning stall step up was very noisy.
