The central location and size of room
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Very convenient location. Delicious breakfast in adjoining Abode restaurant.
No issues
Saubere, große Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick. Super Lage!
The hotel was in an amazing location! Walkable to all site we wanted to see, very close to restaurants and Stanley park. Loved the view and the fact that you could see mountains and water from the panoramic windows. The room felt very bright and spacious. Extra space to do yoga even and the balcony was great. We used the pool and spa area everyday! Excellent stay.
The pillows were a bit too thick for our preference and caused a bit of neck pain. It would have been nice to have a mix of thick and thin pillows for everyone’s preference.
The bathroom was great, the rooms were huge
The furnishings are a bit drab and the AC is noisy.
Location was great
Couldn’t get in earlier
The service was amazing. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is incredibly convenient.
The breakfast was not included
Nettes Personal. Sauberes und komfortables Zimmer. Tolle Aussicht. Sehr gute Lage, um Downtown, Stanley Park, Harbour und Sport-Arenen auch noch zu Fuß zu erreichen. Für Familien geeignet. Sehr gutes Frühstück im angeschlossenen Restaurant.
Fantastic view. Room was very large. Furnishings were simple but very comfortable and functional. Easy walking distance to many things.
Can't think of anything.
The views from the 29th floor were exceptional and we enjoyed it with beautiful days and spectacular sunsets.
The lack of a restaurant on site after lunchtime was frustrating, there are plenty of alternatives locally but a good in house facility is always nice.
The location was perfect, right in the center! Beautiful and large rooms with great views.
The hotel staff were great and our housekeeping person was very helpful and friendly. Our room was upgraded to the 30th floor and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. The brunch until 11am was perfect for us and reasonably priced. There was a great 24h bakery across the street and many restaurants within walking distance. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the Blue Horizon Hotel on our first visit to Vancouver!
Helpful staff, great room and good facilities. Good value parking too and a great location.
Nothing
Excellent hotel. Lovely spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Great location. Good restaurant right on the main level. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
Location was great.
In spite of checking in online before arrival and providing card details we had to do it all again upon arrival as I used a joint card. Paid extra for a sea view but you could only see it stood in the corner of the room or stood on the tiny balcony. Neither the bed nor the sofa faced the sea so it was a waste of money. There was loads of construction and road works while we were there, and looks long term, so we couldn’t be on the balcony, not that there’s room for a chair so that was extremely dissapointing.
The air con is an extremely old system with a super modern thermostat but the room refused to go under 22’ in spite of setting it at 15’ to try and bring the temp down. It was too noisy to keep the balcony door open. When the aircon unit did try to kick in it was extremely lound so very distruptive and frustrating.
Yoh could see from the fire escape drawings that the room we had was also smaller than the others. It may be because it’s a different type (I’m not convinced looking at the different room types) but upon leaving we could see in to the next room and it was a mirror image but a quarter of the size larger with an actual view of the sea. The room is dated and bathroom decor cringy but as per the pictures so it shouldn’t be a complaint but feels as if it’s just another ‘thing’ that didn’t make it value for money.
Luckily we were only there for 1 night to finish off our 2 week trip but it was a damp squib of an ending.
