Perfect location... oh and above a pub
Pros:

Everything about the Grand Terminus meets my needs. Who doesn't love staying above a pub that serves great food and drink

Cons:

Walls are a bit thin, so can be noisy at times

Good Stay
Pros:

Everything was really good, when I arrived there was an issue with the cistern and it was constantly flushing but the staff were super helpful and although I had to turn the water on and off for one night until the plumber came it wasn't a big issue - they sorted it the very next day (note: I arrived at 10pm night one so hence they couldn't repair).

Pros:

A grand hotel in a perfect location for public transport from both Melbourne & from points north - a quick 2 minute walk from the train/bus station.
The owner was extremely helpful & offered to store our luggage after we checked out. Handy to the main streets of the town centre. Bed was comfy with a great shower. A 10 minute walk to the Mitchell River walkway.

Looked great but it wasn’t. I haven’t slept for 3 nights. The noise. The amenities they didn’t wrk.

Cons:

The fridge didn’t wrk. The aircon barely worked. The microwave nearly killed us. A junkie started screaming at us it was absolute shit. Road noise. Why have a massive clothes washer ding dryer but skimp on the fridge. It was horrible for the cost of the room disgusting. I had to throw all our food out. No sleep. Never again. The bed was wet.
