Pros:

Excellent room overlooking the Golf course - spacious and very clean. Good free standing shower and a shower mat. Good breakfast with fresh fruit (always a bonus). Enjoyed visit to swimming pool and sauna in the late afternoon. Biscuits in room tick!

Cons:

Prefer a kettle for tea but a small point as there was hot water from the coffee making machine

Nice stay. Pleasant staff. Used spa and restaurant. Food a bit disappointing. Happy to return.

Ok but probably wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it unless having to go to Carnoustie for some reason.
Pros:

The pool was nice. Staff were generally friendly. Good location

Cons:

There were holes in corridor carpets. A little run down when you get past the front reception and head towards the rooms. Basin in bathroom in room was very small. Housekeeping forgot to replace toilet roll when making up room. A member of waiting staff at restaurant issued the bill but when husband went to pay with card she had added a discretionary 12%tip without asking (which we didn’t realise until the card payment appeared on his phone and was more than he thought he was paying). Note: we would normally pay a tip at restaurants but didn’t have the option at that meal as the waitress had already decided for us. Pretty sure this is illegal (it wasn’t a statutory service charge it was discretionary).
