The Rimwiang is a great choice if you're looking for a nice hotel in central Chiang Mai. I would stay here again if given the chance.
Pros:

This was the most comfortable stay I've had in Chiang Mai. The room was spacious, with a wide and soft bed, fully equipped, clean, and tidy. Located at the back of the street, adjacent to residential houses, it was extremely quiet. An elevator made moving luggage easy. Cleaning was prompt, and daily drinking water was replenished regularly. The service was warm and attentive. The location is close to both the northern and western gates of the Old City, making it very convenient to reach Nimmanhaemin Road and the North Gate Market.
