Pros:

Wir sind abends in Montezuma angekommen und wurden herzlich empfangen. Zu unserer Überraschung gab es ein Zimmer Upgrade, inklusive Hängematte mit Blick aufs Meer. Die Poolanlage ist traumhaft schön und die Unterkunft perfekt zentral gelegen. Wir können jedem empfehlen das Hotel zu buchen.
Wir haben sogar noch eine Nacht verlängert.

Maakt verwachtingen niet waar
Pros:

Het mooie zwembad.
Ligging bij dorpje en strand.
Het moet gezegd worden: het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Cons:

Het hotel hanteert een bizarre regel die groot op een bordje in de kamer staat aangegeven (zie foto): komt er een vlek op een van de handdoeken dan betaalt de gast 20$ boete. Een vlek op beddengoed komt je te staan op 60$.
Het toppunt van ongastvrijheid. Zeker voor de prijs die je betaalt voor de kamer.
Op al onze reizen in duizenden hotels nog nooit gezien.

Veel lawaai van wegverkeer. Het ligt op een kruispunt, waar motoren de neiging hebben om extra hard op te trekken en weg te scheuren. Dag en nacht.

De badkamer was groezelig, wordt heel slecht schoongemaakt. Kranen, muren enzovoort vol vlekken en aanslag.

Geen koffiezetapparaat of waterkoker in de kamer. Als de receptie open is, kun je daar water koken, bananen en koekjes pakken.

Er is jammer genoeg geen mogelijkheid om in het hotel te ontbijten.

Vergeleken met wat wij tot nu toe in Costa Rica hebben ervaren, maakt dit hotel de verwachtingen niet waar, zeker niet voor de prijs die we hebben betaald.

Genial
Pros:

Tiene una ubicación excelente, a un paseo del centro, de las playas y cerca también de la cascada. La piscina es maravillosa, la habitación es amplia con una terraza con hamaca en la que pasamos mucho tiempo. El personal es super amable, al llegar nos dieron un upgrade de la habitación para que estuviéramos más cómodas, cosa que agradecí mucho.

Cons:

Por el precio podrían incluir desayuno (a parte de las galletas, bananos y café, que ofrecen todas las mañanas) o poner una cocina comunitaria para poder preparar algo si no quieres salir del hotel a cenar.

Nice spot for a stay in montezuma
Pros:

The team were all very helpful and friendly. They kindly moved me to a room that was off the road, which was a lot quieter. The pool was always nice to sit around, and the bananas and biscuits were a nice touch for breakfast

Cons:

The rooms are fine, but could do with an update. And, although the beds themselves were comfortable, the bedding could do with a refresh

L’accueil hyper agréable : l’homme a l’accueil nous a aidé à réservé notre tour en bateau et à vraiment été très sympa. Merci à lui. La proximité de la plage et du mini centre ville. Les piscines. Le surclassement et les fleurs dans la chambre. Vraiment parfait merci beaucoup.

Sehr schönes Hotel und sehr schöner Ort.
Pros:

Sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage. Schönes Zimmer mit kleiner Terrasse. Zum Meer sind es etwa 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß.
Viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür. Montezuma ist eh ein sehr kleiner und beschaulicher Ort.
Es gibt zwei Strände. Einen Kleinen auf der rechten Seite, der auch sehr schön zum baden ist, solange Ebbe ist. Wenn die Flut kommt, sind die Wellen sehr hoch und die Strömung sehr stark, so dass es schwierig wird ins Wasser zu gehen.
Der Strand auf der linken Seite ist deutlich größer, aber sehr steinig und felsig und man muss sich schon eine geeigente Stelle suchen, um ins Wasser zu gehen.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great pool, and ideal for both families and couples.
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a central location near the restaurants/shops/bars and beach. All only a minute's stroll away. Beautiful pool, comfortable rooms, and lovely staff.
