Location near to Manchester airport. Leisure facilities, although we didn't use them. Nice bar area serving food.
Unfortunately there was a wedding party in the room next to the bar, and the music was SO loud - you could hear it clearly from our room. We had a really early flight the following day so needed sleep which was impossible with the noise. We asked management if there was anything they could do - they did ask DJ to turn it down but it made little difference. Music stopped at 2315, we were getting up at 0315. To be fair, we were given a partial refund.

Small double is small
The staff were lovely - so helpful and pleasant.
I didn’t use the leisure facilities but others in our party did and they declared them top notch.
I thoroughly recommend poached eggs on sourdough for breakfast. Not expensive and done perfectly.
The standard double is very small. The deluxe double was spacious enough but only a few hangers behind the mirror to put your clothes and it was awkward to reach. I expected better.
There was a fan but no air con and it was hot and hard to sleep. There’s nothing the hotel can do about the exterior temperature but, again, I expected air con or a really good quiet fan.
The use of gym and pool was a real winner. The rooms were compact, but clean and well provisioned and the beds were comfortable

I didn't like how one member of staff attended me at my breakfast but, it was a minor
Although we didn’t use the leisure facilities they looked nice
The room was extremely tired and dated. Rusty bathroom, mirrors at weird height so you can’t see yourself, no AC, just a dusty, non working floor height fan. Iron with cap missing. Boiling hot at night.
Spotlessly clean
We checked in at 8.15pm. We went straight to the restaurant and ordered food. When we tried to order desert we were told the kitchen had closed. It closed at 9pm....this was exactly 9pm. It would have been courteous to allow us to finish our meal in full (both courses) or maybe offer to take a desert order at the same time we ordered our main courses.

Great location and fantastic facilities and staff. Food in the bar watching the football was good and really nice atmosphere
The size of the room and more importantly the size of the bed. I might have missed it on the booking process but I am sure it didn’t say a small double bed!!
Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Facilities were excellent.
Could have done with slightly bigger bed and it was very warm in the bedroom even with the air conditioner on
