Great staff and breakfast but facilities and views let it down
Pros:

The staff were lovely and very helpful. In fact every single person we encountered working at the hotel were excellent and a credit to your venue, including reception, bar staff restaurant staff and housekeeping.

Cons:

Room was tiny and view was terrible. We could just see corrugated iron,pipes and a fire escape.

Don't judge a book by its cover
Pros:

Upon walking in i have to admit I thought I had made a mistake in booking this place, it definitely had the 'leisure centre' vibe to it. However it turned out to be surprisingly everything I didnt expect, the room was comfy, it did have 'spa type' facilities, but the restaurant was the most surprising, I honestly expected to have frozen meal heated up, but the food was just as good as that of a fancier restaurant or eatery.

Cons:

The only downside was that the leisure facilities and spa, were very male dominated, i have to admit I did feel very uncomfortable, even with my husband with me, had I if been on my own, I wouldn't have used these as I just wouldn't have felt at ease or safe, but that is just me.

Pros:

I like the look of the place but couldn't use the pool as didn't bring anything so I could go swimming

Cons:

I didn't like the that they was side panel on the barh as it didn't fix or look clean also the circular window had no string to get the blind up also the radiators when turn on had a smell as there not been on for sometime also it was book for two people and they was only four little milks also i don't think u should have to pay for water as should be in the room also we was told when booking in there was 50 pounds to be taken on the card and this could be used for room or could be put back on the card when we booked out but when booking out we was told to pay the bill then the money would be put back on the card also asked for some milk and etc to be left outside the door as the room didn't need clean and when we got back it wasn't there so had to go and ask for some also the hot food buffet was not the bacon was to hard so look like it been there to long also wasn't getting fill up when it was running out table wasn't clean when someone left yet lots of staff about

A NICE PLACE TO STAY for the money
Pros:

The staff were all very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. The leisure facilities were excellent. The bar menu had decent variety I had a chicken burger that was great. Decent variety of beers and spirits, bar staff restaurant were excellent.as were the reception staff.

Cons:

Just a bit of contructive criticism,

The window in our room didn't shut fully onto the window seals so we could hear all of noise from the motorway and hear people arriving to use the leisure center which was constant 24hrs, The bathroom fan omg its loud probably on its last legs. Defo replace that.

The fry up breakfast was a bit dry, hash browns not great, bacon was very thick and chewy, fried eggs were over done every day but, all the other options we tried were really good.
