Triple room is large and AC is good.
Bathroom is very small and beds are too soft. Most of the time no staff available.
We were looking forward to a Sri Lankan meal, as promoted, with 8 people but most of the options were not available.

Sewage coming up into the room, smell was terrible. Stayed in room 8 … bed was terrible!
Shower was in a slanted part of the room. Couldn’t stand upright.
Close proximity to the complimentary bus service to the race course.
Small car park but arrived early enough to secure a space.
Really comfortable bed but unable to sleep due to reasons below.
When booking we weren't aware of the 12 x DJ night with loud music until 01:30 which meant difficulty sleeping.
Felt uncomfortable eating at the hotel due to the loud music and had to find alternative food venue.
No cooked breakfast option available.
The location was great for what we needed
Room was very small for the price we paid to stay there, it was very noisy with doors banging all through the night and morning. Didn’t offer cooked breakfast. Stay was disappointing compared to last time and it was so much more money this time to stay.
The room was spacious and clean. Bed linen and towels were excellent. Facilities: , kitchen area with crockery and cutlery, decent size kettle and microwave. TV on wall.

If you prefer a character hotel, this will suit you.
The beat from music in the garden went on late into the night. On the second night someone kept knocking on a bedroom door near me - obviously their partner had gone to sleep and they couldn’t get in .As it is an old building there wasn’t a lift and the stairs would not be suitable for older people or with mobility problems .
