Eens maar nooit meer, slecht!
Cons:

Zeer slecht bed, klein, oude matras. Oncomfortabel.

A well maintained hotel run by a lovely couple.
Pros:

We were able to leave our bags in reception at lunchtime, having been given a friendly welcome by The lady proprietor. The check-in process in the early evening with another young lady was straightforward. Our room was a good size. There was plenty of storage space and enough hangers. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom facilities were very good. The wifi worked fine.
Having gone out for the evening, we arrived back at the hotel just on 11pm when the main door was due to be locked. We rang the bell and apologised to the kind and understanding gentleman proprietor who let us in and wished us well when we retired to our room.
We very much liked the decorative and historical features in the public areas which greatly enhanced the hotel.
Our room was also nicely done out.
Having had breakfast at a nearby restaurant and vacated our room, we were able to leave our luggage at reception until lunchtime.
The proprietors are a lovely kind couple who make guests feel very welcome and at ease.

Cons:

We cannot find anything that didn't meet our expectations.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped and good value for money.
Pros:

The location was excellent on Rochester High Street, directly opposite the Cathedral, 10 minutes walk from the Castle and about the same from the Railway Station and with easy access to several decent restaurants.
The reception service was friendly and very informative. The room was bigger than expected and pleasantly clean. Good quality bedding and towels. A well equipped room with a large television, tea and coffee facilities with biscuits. A room fan, hair dryer, safe, suitcase rack, iron and ironing board. The decent sized shower room was ensuite, well lit and with a powerful shower. Toiletries were also provided. During my stay, food wasn't available so I went to the "Fish" restaurant about 5 minutes walk away for an excellent evening meal and a good breakfast. Several other nearby cafes also provided good breakfasts if needed. My room, number 5, was quiet and comfortable overnight with no disturbing noise, I did keep the window closed though as I usually do at home.
The hotel also has its own car park at the rear which, as I travelled by train, I can't comment on.
Overall, I would most certainly stay here again.

Cons:

Nothing really, breakfast in the hotel could have been useful, however, the pleasure of the really good one at the "Fish" would have been hard to beat.

A great place to stay if you're visiting the area.
Pros:

Perfectly located for the Sweeps Festival in Rochester. Sadly no breakfast available which reduced my overall rating but super friendly staff (who did explain why not) and a really nice feel to the hotel itself.

Cons:

Nothing that I can think of.

Pros:

Location

Cons:

Our booking form stated that we would have a room with a view and I expected it would be overlooking High Street, but we were put in a room at the back of the hotel with a view of the parking lot, not quite the view I expected. I noticed later that our key card envelope had a number 3 on it (meaning room 3, with a view of High Street) had been overwritten with the number 14 with the parking lot view.
