Overall a really good stay.
Pros:

Location was perfect. Although the rooms were above the pub, it was very quiet which was good.
Asked for the rooms to be together and they were. Staff were polite and helpful.

Cons:

Rooms weren't totally clean. There were flies on the window ledges and in the shower.

Obviously the pub is old and the floor were on a camber which made one side of the double bed feel like you were going to fall out! Felt that this needed attention. Small fridge in the rooms would be good.

Fabulous short stay
Pros:

What a fantastic stay… such lovely staff …food delish…room was a delight…
Only negative for us oldies the room was on the second floor

Fantatsic room and customer service
Pros:

The room was fantastic and I'd ask to have it again. Breakfast was fantastic and made to order. We will be staying again in the future. The location is perfect and right in the heart of Tenterden high street.

Pros:

Welcoming, comfortable, great location and very helpful staff. Also delicious breakfasts. Would definitely stay again.

Very pleasant and comfy stay
Pros:

I really liked my room, which was very comfy yet characterful, with a lovely view out back. I asked for a quite room and this was just that! I also appreciated the ample selection of tea and coffee. Great shower and roomy bathroom. There was a good fan that cooled the room well. The staff were also very pleasant.

Very well located. Off street parking. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed

Cons:

Extremely hot room. Window only opened 2 inches. Small fan provided. Very uncomfortable stay in the heat wave. Needs to look at updating. We had to leave a day early.

Ok needs improvement .
Pros:

Great staff , however very understaffed Youngs help out your workforce !!!
and real ale and bitter none on tap all run out 😩 had to have larger being a Youngs pub very dissatisfied with this .
Room wonderful very clean tidy and I thank the exhausted staff for this well done 👏.
Food & breakfast ok , but eggs overdone , bacon 🥓 fried way too much (not edible ) .
Lovely location , staircase to rooms smelt & needs a good luck of paint to be honest but nothing against the staff you was fantastic…Youngs brewery pull your socks up & don’t take us public for a ride !
Loosen the purse strings and update your area is a good mine use it wisely .

A comfortable weeek with friendly and obliging service.
Pros:

Service was good, all staff friendly and helpful. Room serviced and cleaned nicely. Room facilities good iron and board included . Bath and shower excellent. Help with luggage as no lift.
Breakfast buffet good with good range of fruit. Poached eggs very good.

Cons:

Bacon kept warm and therefore dried out. Sloping floor in bedroom meant bed - otherwise fine _ also sloped.
