Comfortable bed lovely breakfast and friendly staff
Pros:

Friendly staff and pretty property. Room was on roadside and some traffic noise but all rear rooms were booked so they could not offer

Welcoming traditional pub
Pros:

Staff were very friendly, the breakfasts excellent, atmosphere welcoming.

Cons:

The mattresses on the beds were very firm, so we didn't sleep as well as we would have hoped. No accessible plug sockets by the bed a bit frustrating for charging mobile phones etc

Gutes Quartier für einen Zwischenstop
Pros:

Das Hotel (Pub mit einigen wenigen Zimmern in einem schönen, alten Haus) liegt an der Hauptstraße in Thornhill, einem kleinen verschlafenen Ort; wenig Verkehr, daher nicht wirklich laut. Auch vom Pub war kein Lärm zu hören.
Wir hatten 2 Doppelzimmer: eines hatte eine gute Größe, das andere war im Vergleich recht klein. Für 1 Nacht waren beide Zimmer voll in Ordnung.
Das ist jetzt vielleicht Kritik auf hohem Niveau, weil man ja die Bilder der Zimmer online gesehen hat, aber es ist halt alles ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, durch die dunklen Möbel wirken die Zimmer eher düster und der ultimativ letzte Touch des Wohlfühlens ist dadurch vielleicht nicht wirklich gegeben.
Das Frühstück war ein klassisches Pub Frühstück (full Scottish; Müsli). Es war gut.
Wir haben hier auch zu Abend gegessen. Das war auch ein klassisches Pub Essen und gut.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Pros:

Perfecte plek om te verbijven. Het ligt zeer centraal voor diverse uitstapjes naar Stirling, Doune, Falkirk en Lake Lochmond/Katherine. Er is een pub en restaurantgedeelte. Het eten is voortreffelijk en het personeel is geweldig!!!
De kamer was ietwat gedateerd, maar heel netjes.
Wij zouden meteen weer boeken!

Cons:

Het doortrekken van de wc en water spoelen in wasbak maakt behoorlijk wat herrie ivm extra pomp. Iets om 's nachts rekening mee te houden.

Vi fick en varm välkomnande av personalen som fick känna oss som hemma.
Pros:

Det var välstädat och tyst i boendet. Smidigt med att ha hotell, restaurang och pub i en och samma byggnad. God middag samt klassisk skotskt frukost!

Nous n'avons pas pu tester le petit déjeuner car nous sommes partis avant le début du service. En revanche le restaurant le soir était très bon.

Lovely old pub with great food and service
Pros:

Room was more than satisfactory but a bit plain.
Very old pub with squeaky floorboards and rickety windows, part of the charm. Noise from road but I always wear earplugs so not a problem.
Food in restaurant was excellent with friendly super efficient service despite being very busy.
Good bar for later again with friendly staff and friendly locals
