Pros:

Our stay was a pleasure in every way.
Pros:

I like the space of the bedroom and dining room. The garden was nice with seating overlooking the river. It was a pleasure to sit there on a balmy sunny evening. Dinner was excellent and staff were friendly and engaging.

Cons:

The garden was a little smaller then expected.

The positives definitely outweighed the negatives.
Pros:

The place is gorgeous. The staff were very friendly. We had an issue with our door lock, and they resolved it promptly. The location is also excellent, and the breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

Just be aware that there are quite a few stairs.

I understand the vintage style and character of the property, but I think a little more attention to maintenance would make a big difference.

We noticed some dusty areas in the family room. While I understand that certain spots can be more difficult to clean, some areas seemed to have been overlooked. As shown in the photos below, there are also a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, such as mold, spider webs, and marks from previous leaks.

These were not major issues and did not ruin our stay, but addressing them would make the overall experience even better.

Old world charm in a nice setting.
Pros:

Beautiful gardens. Nice breakfast - white linen tablecloths.

Cons:

TV wasn't working satisfactorily in our room. For one overnight it didn't matter but for a longer stay we'd have raised an issue. Bit dusty - cobwebs in our room.
