Paid for a "Beach Package" we never received, hotel admitted it owed us a refund, then went silent. Horrible service and not a 5
Pros:

We stayed at Li Finistreddi and paid extra for the advertised Beach Package (shuttle, umbrellas, sunbeds at their partner beach club). We never received any of it. At check-in we were told the service "wasn't available yet." When we asked again, staff told us to drive ourselves to find a beach and pay separately — the manager literally scribbled beach names on a Post-it and handed us two towels. We even asked if they could compensate us for the beach chairs we would get at the beach by ourselves or provide any sort of complementary service since the beach package wasn't available, and they said no. At check-out, we raised the issue a third time and explained that we did not think it was fair that we paid for a service we didn't receive. We were told the room rate was the same with or without the package and we shouldn't worry about it. That made no sense given we were charged for the beach package as an add-on benefit.

After we got home, we emailed the hotel and management first tried to claim the beach service had been "active" the whole time and we should have just raised the issue when we were at the hotel. We told them we did on three separate occasions and their own staff told us each time in person that it was not available and there was nothing they could do. When we pushed back with the specifics, they backed off that story, apologized, and agreed in writing to refund the Beach Package. They asked for our bank details to process it.

That was weeks ago. Despite multiple follow-up emails, the refund never came. No explanation, no further communication — just silence after they'd already admitted in writing that we were owed the money.

Save yourself the money and the headache and don't book this hotel!!! Between the paid add-on we never got, the runaround when we complained, a refund they promised in writing and then never sent, and the horrible customer service throughout, this isn't a five-star experience and it isn't worth the money. It's a resort that overpromises, underdelivers, and doesn't follow through even when they admit fault in writing.

Excelente propiedad para gente de mucha plata . Es lindo pero muy caro . El personal sobre todo ítalo y el otro muchacho que maneja la van muy amables . Los del bar y el comedor no . La administración un 6 .

La gentillesse du personnel - Francesca à la réception été au top 🔝 toujours au petit soin pour nos activités extérieurs !! Ajidht le chauffeur de l’hôtel a été adorable avec nos enfants et la nanny.
Le spa est magnifique et massage de Jessica n’en parlons pas 😁

Peaceful hotel with beautiful surroundings very relaxing.
Pros:

The view, the room balcony and everything was super clean! The gardens were perfect the employees very friendly, they’re very keen to get everything you need. It was my husband birthday and Corallia, thank you again, helped me surprise him with a cake she was so sweet!The reception team very professional and friendly , the hotel team is really good and I don’t say that often. If I want to stay in that area I would stay there again.

Cons:

The breakfast was very basic only orange juice and sometimes grapefruit not everyday, 2 types of bread, it’s my favorite meal and it was very disappointing, that’s really not what you expect from a five star hotel. The restaurants the lunch menu is very good but the dinner food was not great, I wish that was true Italian food that’s what you expect in Italy. The clafoutis, was the best I’ve ever had ( they removed the matcha that I don’t like) but please add canolli, it’s Sicilian but it’s Italian, or tiramisu. I think they should review the menu they could do so much better. The employees again so kind very helpful trying to do everything they can.

Der fast perfekte Aufenthalt
Pros:

Zimmer und Service waren Perfekt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, da das Hotel abgeschieden liegt, aber das wollten wir so. Ein fast perfektes Hotel. Wir hatten Halbpension und das Abendessen war geschmacklich sehr gut.

Cons:

Für uns war der einzigste Minuspunkt das Frühstück. Am Anfang gab es nur Bedienung was nicht ganz so einfach war, in der zweiten Hälfte unseres Aufenthalts war es dann Buffet, aber Beides war für so ein Hotel in dieser Preisklasse nicht angemessen.
