Sehr freundliches Personal.
The location, our room was gorgeous
Too expensive for what you get, although a very nice hotel. The spa was not really a functional spa, the service at breakfast was over 45 minutes to just get our coffee and dinner was just ok.
We stayed at this hotel the last three nights of a 23 day trip. After nonstop touring for over two weeks, this was a welcome, dive into serenity and quiet.
The hotel overlooks La Maddalena Archipelago and the Tyrrhenian Sea, the property is beautiful and very well maintained. The location is great,
I can’t say enough about the staff. You’ll see many of the same faces during the day and dinner. A special shout out to Daniele who took great care of us.
The regular rooms with a terrace are nicely appointed, however, the bathrooms are very small and the showers incredibly small. The rooms are a bit cramped. We ended up moving to one of three villas which was spacious, had its own small pool and beautiful large bathroom. The other couple we are traveling with was quite content in the smaller room.
The Restaurant does a great job from Breakfast to lunch, to dinner. It is seldom I care to stay in one resort for most of my meals. We only ventured out for dinner one of three nights, and we were quite content to eat here on the terrace on the that’s how patio overlooking the sea. The house made pastas and fish were delicious.
Beautiful place, setting, rooms. Fantastic pools & spa, great views
Nothing
Die Lage mi der tollen Aussicht
Ausstattung
Ambiente
Getränkepreise der Drinks völlig überrissen
Good vibe
Beautiful location
Extremely friendly and helpful staff
Brilliant facilities
Great food
The room I was in was small. The sound proofing was terrible.
I could hear closely the people in the adjacent room having sex. I was in Fresia
Prachtige locatie, 3 zwembaden, waarvan 1 verwarmd. Modern, mooi meubilair buiten. Heerlijk eten.
We recently stayed here ahead of peak season and overall had a pleasant experience with some clear strengths, alongside a few areas that would benefit from improvement before the busy summer period arrives.
The setting is beautiful, with lovely views, and the rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable. The swimming pools are sizeable, and the spa is a nice addition to the facilities. Staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which was appreciated throughout our stay.
There are, however, several areas where the experience could be improved. Service was noticeably slow at times, particularly when ordering food and drinks, and items were forgotten during nearly every meal. While the staff were polite, many appeared unfamiliar with the menu and openly mentioned being new or still learning, which perhaps reflects pre-season training but did impact the overall experience. We could be more forgiving if room rates weren’t over £600 a night…
The food offering could also be improved, particularly with more salad or lighter options available. Breakfast felt somewhat disorganised, with dishes arriving at different times and toast often cold — a buffet-style setup might work better and provide a smoother experience for guests.
Although the hotel promotes itself as child friendly due to the play area, the layout makes this difficult in practice. There are multiple large rocky stairways throughout the property, making it challenging to move around with a pram, especially for one parent alone. The same would be applied to anyone wheelchair bound or with limited mobility - you wouldn’t be able to stay here.
The rooms were generally very nice, although a few finishing touches would elevate them further — the pillows could feel more luxurious (no duck feather pillows for example), tea bags were not replenished, and the coffee machine in our room did not work during the stay.
Pricing also felt inconsistent in places. The hotel is expensive overall, and a glass of wine for example is €15 in the bar and almost double this next door in the restaurant, for the smallest portion (see pictures - I thought I had been given a taster!). Food was okay however missing the wow factor for us given the prices.
Finally, while the pools were enjoyable, they were not heated as advertised during our visit, and the sauna in the spa was unfortunately out of order.
Sauna klein
