Great location, friendly staff, charming property, but windows need screens until AC is added.
Pros:

The location is great, there was a beautiful view of the city from the balcony (especially at night with the lights), the room was spacious with a nice little kitchenette.

Cons:

There was no AC and there was only one ceiling fan in the kitchen and one small portable floor fan. The windows don’t have screens and so we tried to leave them open for the breeze but mosquitoes came in and left us with a few bites. Also, the pool wasn’t available for use.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist süss, es liegt in einem schönen tropischen Garten, es ist sehr ruhig dort, ausser den Grsängen der Vögel und Zikaden und die Zimmer sind geräumig und es gibt eine Parkmöglichkeit hinter verschlossenem Tor.
Der Pool driekt neben dem Frühstücksbuffet erscheint mir ein bisschen unglücklich. Aber wer Augen im Kopf hat muss auch nicht ins Wasser fallen.
Alles in allem ein schöner Platz in San José.

Pros:

Spacious room with kitchenette which is very handy when traveling and there are no restaurant around the corner. Staff is friendly. Hotel ambience in general is very nice, spacious parking area.

Cons:

few ants on the room and when I asked for a lower pillow they did not have any. Pillows are a bit high so I had neck pain after 1 night. No tea option at breakfast self serve drinks bar for people who does not drink coffee.

Beautiful retreat + breakfast in a great area!
Pros:

Beautiful property—like a retreat! The property is very private and in a quiet neighborhood. Parking was secure and easy. Spacious apartment with greenery all around. Well ventilated with large ceiling fans kept the temperature very comfortable. Delicious breakfast available in the morning was a treat!

Cons:

The pool was closed, which was a shame. The unit could have used a few additional items such as dish soap and hand towels.
