Important information:

Please note that the entire valley is car free and cars have to be left in Pontresina. Guest can reach the hotel by bike or on foot, as well as on cross-country or touring skis in winter season.

On prior request, the hotel can also arrange a pick up by a horse carriage from the Pontresina train station. Contact details are stated in the booking confirmation.

Also, a bus shuttle service from the Pontresina train station to the hotel is available on prior reservation at 10:30, 17:00 and 18:00.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Restaurant & Personal top - Hotelzimmer flop!
Pros:

Traumhafte Lage mit wunderbarer Gletscherkulisse. Sehr schöne Gartenterrasse, weltbekanntes Dessertbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Essen allgemein sehr gut. Sympathisch aufmerksames Personal - Danke für euer Engagement!

Cons:

Preis Leistung Hotel stimmen hier definitiv nicht!! Interieur ist in die Jahre gekommen. Muffiger Spannteppich im Hotelzimmer sowie Flurbereich. Defekte Fliesen im Bad. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Nebenhaus für 3 Nächte. Zum Glück immer schönes Wetter - solch ein Zimmer lädt nicht zum Verweilen ein.

Pros:

Die Lage und die Anfahrt mit der Kutsche waren der Hammer. Die Küche am Abend wie auch das Frühstück überzeugten, einfach super lecker. Die Gastfreundschaft war sehr herzlich und freundlich.

Cons:

Für den Preis hätte ich ein wenig mehr erwartet an Sauberkeit im Zimmer.

Unvergleichliche Lage, gutes Essen, tolles Frühstücksbuffet, freundliches Personal, schönes Restaurant

Cons:

Zimmerpreis in Bezug auf die Ausstattung doch recht teuer. Ich gehe davon aus, dass vor allem die schöne Lage mitten in der Natur ihren Preis hat.

Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen...
Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht so ganz. Aber die Freundlichkeit, das sehr gute Essen und die wunderschöne Lage machen es wieder wett.

Pros:

L'albergo si trova alla fine della valle Roseg in un luogo meraviglioso di fronte al ghiacciaio. La struttura complessivamente e' carina con tipico aspetto alpino.

Cons:

Ci hanno dato una camera da 5 persone con una finestra piccolissima assolutamente non adatta alla dimensione della stanza. La finestra era molto in alto e si riusciva ad aprirla solo salendo su una sedia senza avere la possibilita' di vrdere fuori. Il gestore dell'albergo inoltre ci ha chiesto insistentemente di pagare la stanza sebbene l'avessimo gia' pagata 15 giorni prima e non si e' fidato neanche quando ha visto la ricevuta del pagamento di booking. E' stato molto spiacevole perche' non si e' curato prima del nostro arrivo di vericare tempestivamente il pagamento . Poi alla fine lo ha recuperato sul pc. Una figuraccia pessima che voglio segnalare assolutamente.
