Pros:

Its located in the national park, what is ideal for visiting Alishan. Trainstation or buses very near. The woods are beautiful and definitely worth visiting! Staff is welcoming and friendly. Room was very basic, but we had an ok stay.

Cons:

Everything you want to do, you have to take quite some stairs. Shops, restaurants, bus, trainstation, everything is a couple of stairs away. For us good exercise, but I felt sorry for elderly people. Breakfast is everyday at a different place and everytime we went it was very, very basic. Compared to other places we have stayed in Taiwan, the hotelprice was much too high, but it has everything to do with the location.

The location is central to Alishan park. The breakfast was at a restaurant aways from the property and was quite good.
