Staff. Room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with all that I needed. Food was good, though a bit richer that I normally eat.
Perhaps a few more lighter, healthier choices on menu.
The lady running the place was absolutely brilliant, kind, welcoming, and professional. The location is excellent, next to the Northumberlandia landscape sculpture which is well worth a look, the only thing like it in the world. The feeling at the inn was comfortable, it felt like an inn rather than some generic hotel.
The only issue I found was that the guest wi-fi is a very slow unsecured network, so not ideal for business travellers. But if it wasn't for that I would definitely stay again.
roomlovely big clean and cosy
Hard matris
Great location and lovely staff. Rooms a good size and clean although some areas looking a bit jaded.
Other residents smoking in corridors and maybe in rooms nearby.
Food in the evening wasn’t great.
The location was great and peaceful
T
breakfast was good
The evening meal timing on Tuesday night was abysmal, 1 hour 30 minute wait so we walked out and went elsewhere, people were returning food because it was cold or not what they ordered.
Bedroom was comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was poor.
A perfect location for a weekend visit to Morpeth for a friend’s 50th. A very welcoming pub / hotel we ate one night there the staff were all lovely and it was just right as a base for our visit.
Nothing
Beautiful hotel/pub. Surroundings were beautiful. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Beautiful massive full breakfast. I'm.very picky with sausages but they were lovely. ALL good quality stuff. I would reccomend staying here.
A cup in our room was dirty and maybe a few more toiletries in the bathroom would be nice.
A good location for where we wanted to travel to daily
The cost of breakfast it is a bit expensive
Really good size double bed room for us. In a perfect quiet location.
Location and general pub environment
Room needed decorating. Paint peeling in bathroom. Window security lock broken.
Dispute over whether or not breakfast was included in price .
