Easy commute to return rental car and get to the airport.
Pros:

Really good view of the harbor from our room, the downside is we had to lug our bags up 3 flights of stairs. Nice size room, able to open the gable windows for ventilation. Nice walking path, friendly Pub for drinks and dinner.

Cons:

Parking turned out fine since the Coorie provided a parking pass for the Pier parking across the street.

Ich bin zum zweiten Mal zu Gast gewesen und habe mich wieder sehr wohl gefühlt.
Große Frühstücksauswahl, frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker.
Freundliches Personal; unkomplizierter Check-in und Check-out, auch wenn das Café bereits geschlossen hat. Parkplätze sind auf der Straße verfügbar.

Pros:

Very friendly staff at all times. We had the spacious family room with a beautiful view to Firth of Forth. It was very nice to have so much space, a big comfortable bed and a very good shower which gave lush water. Nice toiletries. A calm and relaxing place. Parking in the street was easy, and some steps nearby was a free parking lot. Easy access and check-in / check-out. The restaurant on the ground floor was very nice also. Great offer for breakfasts until 11:30 or so, good brunch, and very good choice in the menu. The Bruce Arms, a pub down the street, offers dinner. Very amiably, we also had a couple of drams there. Friendly locals would chat with us, we enjoyed it a lot.

I would definitely book there again if I fly in or out of Edinburgh. From The Coorie, it's about 30 minutes by car to go downtown. Parking in the centre of Edinburgh costs approximately 10 Pounds für 5 hours, look for Princes Exchange Car Park. (Public transport takes more than 1 hour.) If you like to visit the famous Firth Bridge, drive to South Queensferry, that's the best spot to see it and to take pictures. The drive to and from EDI airport takes less than 30 minutes.

The Coorie in Limekilns is also a good starting point for visitors who go north, be it Perth or Inverness or Glencoe.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about! A nice addition would be two chairs in the room.

Pros:

It was a nice size family room. It was a basic room but works great for an over night stay. Great location! We didn't interact with any staff because we checked in after hours. Checkin instructions for after hours were great and we checked in with no problems.

Schöner Abschluss einer Rundreise im Coorie by the Coast
Pros:

Das Frühstück gehörte nicht zur Buchung und wurde unten im Café nach Menükarte serviert. Es war sehr gut. Die Lage war schön, direkt am Meer. Wir konnten fußläufig zum Pub-Restaurant gehen, um dort zu essen. Zur Stadt wären es ca. 3,5 - 4 km gewesen. Es ist eine ruhige, romantische Gegend. Zum Zimmer (im Dachgeschoss) waren recht viele Stufen zu überwinden, aber die Aussicht war toll. Das Bett war sehr gut und die einteilige Bettdecke überraschend groß.

Cons:

Check-in recht anonym, nur mit Code an der Tür. Kein Personal, außer das im Café am Morgen, wobei wir nicht wissen, ob dies zum Hotel dazugehört. Sehr heißes Wasser in der Dusche, das sich nicht regeln ließ.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und die Lage direkt am Meer unschlagbar. Der Check war einfach und es war toll, dass wir direkt an der Unterkunft kostenlos parken konnten. Das Frühstück im Café war sehr gut, es gab sogar einen Gutschein.

Schönes Zimmer an toller Lage

Schöne, grosse Zimmer. Wir hatten ein Dachzimmer, das ruhig war.
Tolle Lage in schöner Umgebung.
