Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, perfekte Nähe zum Flughafen (30min)

Gute Lage direkt am Wasser, nettes Personal, geräumige Zimmer :)
Perfekt wenn man am nächsten Tag zum Flughafen muss.

Jolie étape au bord de l’eau à moins de 30 min de l’aéroport d’Edimbourg
Pros:

Nous recherchions un point de chute pour une nuit sans nous éloigner de l’aéroport d’Edimbourg, c’était parfait, de belles choses à visiter pour un après-midi, le coucher de soleil au bord de la mer était somptueux et c’est très agréable de descendre au café pour le déjeuner!

Cons:

Mauvaise isolation phonique mais normal dans un vieux bâtiment..

It would have been so much better if my comments "what didn't I like" were taken care of
Pros:

The breakfast options were ok. The location was good. The staff were very helpful.

Cons:

We had a large family room, but it would have been so much better if there was one or preferably two armchairs provided to sit and read or watch the tv. The desk provided is tiny and the stool with it was ridiculously low, I had to ask for a hard back chair to use the desk with my computer or to read my kindle. The hanging rail provided had just 6 hangers, hardly sufficient for two people staying for 6 nights. Below the hanging rail was just one drawer - again insufficient. The bed side tables are tiny, perhaps 30 x 30 cm, with one small drawer. The shelf space in the bathroom is also very small, with no other provision to keep toothbrushes, hair brushes etc. etc. The heating in the room doesn't come on until 6.00am. I rise early generally before 5.00am, on our first morning I found the room very cold and had to put on my trousers and an outside jacket. On talking to the staff at breakfast they did arrange to have the heating come on at 4.00 for one hour and then for it to come on again at 6.00.

Beautiful views and a very comfortable stay
Pros:

Beautiful clean, spacious room with a lovely view. It was warm and cozy with underfloor heating in the ensuite for added luxury.

Charmant hotel, idéalement placé, rapport qualité prix bluffant, petit déjeuner délicieux
Pros:

Merveilleux petit hotel dans un petit village au bord du Firth of Forth. Chambres très bien décorées, literie confortable, vue sur le petit port. Petit déjeuner "maison" à la carte, servi au rez de chaussée est un must, très complet et excellent qualité prix, service charmant. Lieu tout a fait conforme aux photos, accès aisé. Nous étions un groupe de 8 personnes de retour de road trip sur Skye, les 4 chambres étaient de la même qualité. Rapport qualité prix imbattable pour l'écosse. Charmant pub traditionel à 100m de l'hôtel.
Nous étions à 25 minutes de l'aéroport, et pourtant tout à fait dans un esprit village : parfait pour notre dernière nuit sur place.

A beautiful property in a great location!
Pros:

A beautiful property! The rooms in the attic were spacious with amazing views. It was lovely to have the cafe downstairs. Great location with short drive to Nth and Sth Queensferry and Edinburgh. Parking available across the road. Would stay again.

Perfect haven on the Fife Coastal Path
Pros:

This was the perfect haven after a long day of walking on the coastal path. I was given a warm welcome and shown up to my room, which was gorgeous - up in the eaves and super clean and comfortable. It was bright and airy with 4 big windows looking out over the sea. I loved sitting in the little corner nook by the window, having a cup of tea and looking out at the view. The bed was very comfortable and the shower satisfyingly powerful. All in all a perfect stay and I would love to have enjoyed it for longer, but I had more walking to do, and a hard deadline of a work shift! I couldn't even stay for breakfast at the gorgeous looking cafe downstairs, which opened at 8am, and would have been perfect.
