Ich hatte für die Nacht vom 20. auf den 21. Juni ein Zimmer in diesem Hotel gebucht. Am Morgen des 20. Juni, während ich bereits am Flughafen beim Boarding war und auf dem Weg nach Düsseldorf für das Bad Bunny-Konzert, erhielt ich plötzlich die Nachricht, dass meine Buchung storniert wurde – nur wenige Stunden vor meiner Ankunft.

Ich rief sofort im Hotel an. Die ältere Dame, mit der ich bereits eine Woche zuvor telefoniert hatte, war von Anfang an äußerst unfreundlich. Eine Woche vor meiner Anreise hatte ich wegen einer Nachricht über eine angeblich fehlende Zahlung angerufen, da ich zunächst dachte, es könnte sich um einen Betrugsversuch handeln. Als ich damals gegen 21 Uhr anrief, sagte sie mir lediglich, dass sie bereits im Bett liege und keine Lust habe, noch ins Büro zu gehen. Ich solle doch am nächsten Mittag wieder anrufen. So mit einem Gast zu sprechen, obwohl online ein 24-Stunden-Service angegeben ist, empfand ich als sehr unprofessionell. Selbst wenn zu dieser Uhrzeit kein vollständiger Service möglich ist, kann man das deutlich höflicher kommunizieren.

Beim zweiten Telefonat wegen der Stornierung erklärte sie mir, dass es einen Rohrbruch gegeben habe und das Zimmer deshalb unbewohnbar sei. Auf meine Nachfrage, ob das Problem bereits länger bekannt gewesen sei, antwortete sie, dass man schon länger davon wusste und versucht habe, den Schaden zu beheben. Umso unverständlicher ist es, dass meine Buchung erst wenige Stunden vor meiner Ankunft storniert wurde, als ich bereits unterwegs war.

Da an diesem Wochenende wegen des Konzerts nahezu alle Hotels in Düsseldorf ausgebucht oder extrem teuer waren, hatte ich praktisch keine Möglichkeit mehr, selbst eine Alternative zu finden. Ich wurde schließlich nach Duisburg umgebucht, wodurch ich einen deutlich längeren Weg zum Konzert hatte. Als junge Frau, die alleine unterwegs war, brachte mich das in eine sehr unangenehme und unsichere Situation.

Gute Wahl für einen Kurzbesuch in Düsseldorf

Die Einrichtung des Zimmers war gut durchdacht. Es war sauber. Die Lage war gut.

Cons:

Im Sommer wird es in den Zimmern sehr warm. Ein kleiner Ventilator wäre praktisch.
