Nothing
Hotel under construction, room smelled like mildew and cat pee. It was so bad I ended up leaving the hotel to find another place to sleep after being in the room for an hour to save my lungs. A safety hazard, would have given me tuberculosis.
The receptionist was friendly and understood why I walked out without much question and she did help me with my luggage down to my room.
The hotel is literally under construction—and not the kind where they just need to paint a few walls. I mean full construction: scaffolding holding up the roof, wires hanging from the ceiling, rubble everywhere, and walls half torn down.
When the taxi dropped me off, I asked him repeatedly if he had the right place. The entire façade was raw concrete blocks, with a skip out the front and scaffolding all around. I thought it must be the hotel next to it, but no.
I walked in and asked the receptionist, “Is this the hotel?” She said yes and proceeded to check me in. I was looking around in disbelief.
I told myself, “It’s okay, it’s only for one night.”
I got to my room and it was filthy. The bedsheets were stained. I looked outside my patio door and it was an active construction site.
So I left. I think I spent about 15 minutes there at most.
I’ve been to places like India, but I’ve never seen anywhere as bad as this.
I like the view from the lobby, and the convenience to the city.
The hotel is in a mess as it's on renovation. Pillow and mattress is badly stain.
Ubicación y las vistas en la terraza
Hotel en construcción. El personal pasa del huésped, les dije si me podían conseguir un taxi urgente y me responde que no.
Odeur de moisi intense humidité extrême
Great location, staff nice, good for price.
Seemed like still under construction/renovation, but v short overnight stay, so met our needs.
The fact that we could hang dry our scuba gear on the balcony ( room 304) with double bed. The A/C work very well, the hot shower with plenty of pressure. It was an overall experience lovely.
if you are doing a scuba day trip, this location is perfect, it was an only 10min walk to our tour operator UBER SCUBA KOMODO and there is a supermarket across the street from the hotel.
The hotel had a kettle with free water, coffee, tea & creamer
The bed mattress was VERY confortable and the linen clean and new. The towels were old but very absorbant.
Will come back to this hotel on our next trip
The hotel is under renovation, there is a lot to fix, our ceiling had holes and the balcony outside door was very low and make lots of noise when opened and closed but with a lift it was ok
The breakfast was VERY light ( toast with butter and jelly) plus coffee and tea
Our 304 room had a leaking faucet in the bathroom but not causing an issue
This is a locally owned hotel sitting right above the old port. The view is incredible. The staff are lovely. They don’t speak English but we got by easily with Google translate. My room was serviced every day. The huge bed was extremely comfortable. I stayed for 5 nights and my bedding was changed in that time. My towels were changed everyday. It was lovely to come back to my room after Diving all day.
Anything that was a possible downside was either understandable or acceptable under the circumstances.
Best view ever, close to supermarket and food places, not far from the harbour
the process of getting the key from the owner was a little bit complicated
Nothing was like the pictures, it was a total scam.
The view from our room looked into construction
The rooms were dirty, had many bugs, the beds were very stained, the balcony walked directly into an unfinished basement of a building currently in construction
Besides being conveniently located in the central area, there was nothing to like.
Firstly we overlooked the fact that the place is under construction (renovation), since we were initially shown a renovated sea-facing room, which looked acceptable. However, when we arrived to check-in the next day, we were first given a street facing room, which I rejected. Then we were given a twin room, rather than a double room, which was what we requested. Finally, we were given a sea-facing double room (not the one we were originally shown), which had not yet been renovated, and was mouldy and not in good condition. None of the staff could speak English, and in the end, we decided to move out and find another place to stay (without staying there at all). I hope Booking.com takes issue with this disgusting place, and does the right thing by refunding me for the 3 nights that I paid in advance for.
P.s. having read some other reviews, it is clear that this renovation has been going on for more than a year, with no end in sight.

Our room had a waterfront view and balcony overlooking the harbour The view was sensational
No fridge, and poor wifi
we could not stay and left after a few hours after check in
We had a very bad experience and we had to leave at the same day we checked in. The rooms were not clean, the towels and bedsheets were dirty, windows could not be open because of many people working on renovation, the walls were moldy, the air conditioning was not working well in one of the rooms and there was a really bad smell in the bathrooms. There was no toilet paper and light was not working, we were also concerned about our safety because of the circulation of many people right in front of the room because of the renovation, we are still waiting to be refunded and I hope that after the renovation, this will not happen to future guests
Good location in Main Street of Labuan Bajo
Bugs in bed and in room, climbing up walls. Poor security, Broken door handle to outside and small latch to outside. Balcony was right on back laneway where children were playing. Towels ripped. Moved room, to a “garden view” which opened in to a building site. Breakfast was buffet style, luke warm, limited utensils and dirty. This Accomodation is below any acceptable standards and would urge booking.com to remove from this site.
