The green fire exit light in the room was too bright for my liking,the basin drainage made an odd noise alomgtime after using it,but biggest pain was no air con in the room even thought its advertised on the booking app :-/
This place gets all its ratings for its amazing food, great restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the staff were more than helpful, however…
I stayed in a room that was like in a prefab home split into rooms, absolutely no sound deafening between rooms, I could literally hear everything going on in the bathroom and what was being said in the room next to mine on top of this there was a generator outside my room that randomly turned on during the night. For the money for a night, my advise go elsewhere and eat here. There was no fridge in the room, the room was so small I couldn’t lay my bag out except in fort of the access door, you literally couldn’t swing a cat in the room I was given.

Room was really cold on arrival. It did warm up but I always feel when hotels know the rooms are booked out if the guests are late there is nothing worse than turning up to a room with the windows open and the radiators off!!
Bed was comfortable.
Antlers - walls so thin i could hear the gent in the next room go toilet, phonecalls and tv. In the morning i overhead another person mentioning the noise. Wallpaper coming off the wall.

Net curtains did not cover the windows (room 14) so we had to pull down the roller blinds as there were golfers standing right outside the window.
We also had crisps on the carpet when we entered the room.

Staff friendly restaurant and bar
The room we had surpassed all expectations we had a ground floor terrace/garden accessible by double doors from the bedroom with rattan garden furniture. The bathroom was bigger than any bathroom we’ve ever had in any hotel. The shower was amazing the bed was so comfortable. The check in was quick and simple and staff couldn’t have been more friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was incredible and the waiting staff were so friendly and clearly happy at their work. Every member of staff from reception to restaurant to bar staff was exceptional and they all really made an effort to make us feel welcome.
