Quiet relaxing location and good food.
Pros:

The food was good and value for money. The gardens and terraces were beautiful.

Cons:

We decided on this visit to book a bungalow to avoid using stairs. We had seen the bungalows and were happy to book one but unfortunately the one we were given was not to our liking and it was different from the others. It was very modern with no privacy and very basic. This is the reason we didn't give full marks.

Lovely setting
Pros:

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds, with nice outdoor spaces to enjoy. The restaurant food was exceptional.

Cons:

Room was a bit small, but fine for an overnight stay.

Suited our needs but would not stay again based on the accommodation
Pros:

Great set up the grounds and restaurant were lovely

Cons:

The rooms we got were a lot smaller than we had expected however the biggest issue is that room 14 was next to an entrance where what appears to be goods (beer barrels for example were delivered)
It was quite noisy at night as we had to leave a window open due to the hot weather
I would imagine the room could become very warm in this weather even with the fan supplied

Great stay, Friendly staff and excellent food
Pros:

A good stay. Room was fine, slightly on the small size. Excellent shower. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, at reception and in the restaurant. The food was excellent, both the evening meal and breakfast.

Would stay again but in a room with a window.
Pros:

Staff were friendly especially the reception who doubled as a bar maid the night we were there.
