Beautiful stay in Pontresina in a lovely century old hotel.
Pros:

Excellent location. It felt “old and elegant,” in a lovely way. With updated rooms.
Also, we have never stayed in a quieter room. We could hear no noise whatsoever. No noise of heating, pipes, people, traffic! 🤗
Staff were helpful and patient with us. The breakfast was fantastic- so many options.

Cons:

The only negative was the shower because the door does not cover the whole tub, the water sprayed on the floor.

Pros:

Well what's not to like??? We had a wonderful stay, the staff could not be more helpful and accommodating and always patient, I would name them but that would be unfair as they were all fantastic.
Our room was great, yes like some say a little old fashioned but we do not want to stay somewhere that looks like everywhere else, it was authentic and charming and spotlessly clean. The beds were so comfortable and the duvets and pillows and linens were high quality. Please do not take the heart from the wonderful place.
The communal areas were delightful, although large which gave everyone space to relax, they were cosy and warm and welcoming. Beautiful.
Breakfast was plentiful and good quality, lots of choice, fresh ingredients and all delicious. We never needed to stop for lunch as we had been able to have such a hearty breakfast.
We ate our evening meal in the restaurant which was just lovely and really well priced, the staff there were so friendly as well. The food was excellent.

Each to their own but I could not mark this hotel less than a 10 in any way.
Thank you to all of the staff for a really wonderful stay, I hope to return one day! 🩷😁❤️

Charmantes Hotel an zentraler Lage
Pros:

Mir wurde beim Einchecken ein Up Grade angeboten. Das Hotel versprüht einen Charme von Vergangenheit, ist aber in den Zimmern modern eingerichtet und wird professionell geführt. Kein Zimmer gleicht dem andern. Es hat sehr grosse Gemeinschaftsräume (Bibliothek, Bar etc.), wo sich die Gäste treffen und sich austauschen können. Die Gastgeber haben eine Hotelführung angeboten. Das war ein besonderes Erlebnis und gab einen guten Einblick hinter die Kulissen. Das im Hotel integrierte Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Service ist überaus freundlich und aufmerksam.
