La estancia mejoró notablemente tras el cambio de habitación.

Hotel agradable, bien de decorado y situado

Cons:

No nos gustó que el primer día nos asignaran una habitación situada junto a la recepción, con un nivel de ruido muy elevado. Tuvimos que solicitar un cambio de habitación, que finalmente nos realizaron al día siguiente. Aunque agradecemos que atendieran nuestra petición, ello supuso tener que volver a hacer las maletas y reorganizar toda la estancia, una molestia que podría haberse evitado.

Wonderful and welcoming hotel with great breakfast and very good location

Location, quality comfort - book this spot!
Pros:

A fairly short walk from the train station (10 minutes with luggage, up and down two bridges) and you arrive here - Hotel Moresco, located serenely on a fairly quiet canal. You feel like you are a bit away from everything but can easily get to the action in 10 minutes. The lobby is small but well appointed and has a bar where we were asked to wait while they checked us in, with a welcome drink of course. felt like a New York City boutique hotel. We had two canal view rooms for our family and enjoyed looking out as often as we could. The breakfast is included and you can sit in the small dining room or in the back garden. The weather was very hot when we were there so we only enjoyed the garden for a short time one evening but in cooler weather this is the spot! Quiet reprieve from the bustle of Venice. Also, the AC in this hotel was 10/10 and there was a water bottle-filling station in the lobby. For us Americans both of these thi9ngs were deeply appreciated. Each evening they host a happy hour from 6:30-8 with free spread of chicetti, good variety. Drinks you have to pay for but the bartender mixes a great spritz! Breakfast has good options and you can order eggs any way you like and a variety of coffees include cappuccino and espresso. Nice location, clean and elegant hotel but not stuffy - highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel with lovely caring staff
Pros:

Wonderful staff, all so friendly and helpful. Beautifully decorated and clean, Nice breakfast and delicious cichetti in the evening providing a great opportunity to socialise with other guests.

Cons:

Mattress was quite hard on the hips. Our room was next to the lift which you could hear all the time. We also had noise problems from the room above but the hotel managed to address this.

Wonderful, definitely 5 star.
Pros:

Everything! The room was well appointed and to a high quality. The check in process was very smooth and the welcome drink/snack was a very thoughtful touch. The beds are exceptionally comfy and the breakfast delicious. We enjoyed the outside space too.

Hotel Moresco is a beautiful property in a quiet corner of Venice. The property is filled with beautiful paintings of Venice and feels a bit like stepping into a bygone era of luxury.

Cons:

The rooms tend to be on the smaller size, but as this is typical of Europe, it is not really a problem.

Outstanding Hotel in all respects
Pros:

This is a Beautiful boutique hotel. Very clean, lovely rooms. Nice happy hour too. Location is perfect. Customer service is just outstanding.
Helped educate us on effective use of the water taxi system which was most helpful.
We were surprised by an unexpected national train strike and the front desk team helped us navigate around the problem avoiding an impact to our plans.
