Firstly the price was high for the small. cramped room and the lack of any drink making facilities. Only on the following morning, did I discover there was a small coffee machine and hot water/tea available on a different floor of the hotel and I only found that by chance when looking to see if I could find the restaurant. It would have been easy to tell guests about this machine in the room's information pack.

Secondly, my bigger problem was the first and second floor rooms were only accessible via very narrow and steep steps. I'm a fit 65 year old and my bags were a reasonable, but not over heavy size. Even so, they weren't easy to get up the stairs. For customers who had large, heavy bags or weren't fit, it would have been a real struggle. You couldn't even ask for help from the staff as they had all left by 18:00. From my younger sister's viewpoint, she would have been complaining to her husband who would either have to carry all their bags up the stairs and then endure complaints about the stairs as well, or have to pay for an alternative hotel (without a refund on this hotel).

I complained to the hotel about the stairs. They claimed this was clearly indicated on the websites. This I don't accept as Booking.com stating "Upper floors accessible by stairs only" does not explaining the narrow, steep stairs. There are no photos of the stairs on Booking.com. I did get an email a couple of days before which mentioned that the stairs were steep, but that didn't help at all on a pre-paid, non-refundable booking.

Finally, when I confirmed I wouldn't arrive before the staff left at 18:00, I was given details of how to find the secure key box (which worked fine). But anybody arriving later than expected on the day might have problems getting access to the rooms esp. if like me, they don't have wifi or mobile roaming access in the EU.

Geen airco

Omdat het heel warm was in de bovenste kamer zou een airco fijn zijn geweest.
Maar ik was al heel blij met mijn 2 ventilatoren die er stonden.
En in de badkamer miste ik wel een plankje voor mijn make-up spulletjes neer te zetten.
Verder prima!

Zimmer war sehr klein,kaum Platz für auf die linken Seite vom Bett zu kommen .
Fenster können nicht geöffnet werden,nur ca 5 cm wegen Gitter.
Kein Kühlschrank.
Frühstück war kein Buffet und auf die Frage ob man Schinken und Käse haben könnte, wurde uns gesagt das geht nicht .also
entweder oder!
Also Preis-Leistung,176€ pro Nacht ein Witz

De tapijt op de kamer en kamer was wat verouderd en de bedden waren veeeeeel te mals

Geen airco. Dat moet je wel weten van te voren. Het was 30 graden maar mbv 2 ventilatoren, heerlijk geslapen.
Echter geen kamer om ook overdag terug te trekken. Om te slapen prima.
En met tuin beneden goed te combineren.
De schuine wand boven het bed zorgde voor een kopstoot, was ook wat minder. Goed opletten en bukken.

De ramen kon je nauwelijks openen dat was wel jammer. Ook de deur v d badkamer kon je niet volledig openzetten...

Jammer dat er geen airco op de kamer is en koelkastje. Ook voor een hotel dat gelegen is aan de LF1 zou ik verwachten dat er een voorziening is voor het goed plaatsen alsmede overdekt van de fietsen.
Leuk hotel, lichtelijk gedateerd meet wel goedkoop.

Niets veel tegen, alleen maar mee. Trap was voor mij goed te doen en het was rustig.

Die sehr steile Treppe, aber da macht die Unterkunft vorher drauf aufmerksam.
