Palaima is a rare place where beautiful nature, heartfelt hospitality, and exceptional attention to detail come together
Pros:

Our stay at Palaima was one of those rare experiences where you feel not just accommodated, but genuinely welcomed. The location by Lake Rubikiai is absolutely beautiful — peaceful nature, stunning surroundings, and a sense of calm that allows you to fully disconnect from everyday life.

What impressed us most was the staff: incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive in a very natural and sincere way. The hospitality never felt formal or forced. The restaurant was also excellent — delicious food, high quality ingredients, and a wonderful atmosphere.

You can clearly see that the owners have put an enormous amount of heart, care, and personal craftsmanship into this place. So many details throughout the hotel feel thoughtfully created and deeply personal, giving the entire property a unique warmth and character.

Another thing worth mentioning is how impeccably maintained everything is. There is a rare sense of order, cleanliness, and attention to detail — “Swiss-level” tidy and organized. Everything feels harmonious, carefully looked after, and done with pride.

This is truly a special place, and one we would gladly return to again.

Tolle Unterkunft
Pros:

Tolle Lage am See, Sauna, schöne Einrichtung, super Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Nachhaltigkeit, soziales Engagement und sehr sauber. Auf Empfehlung einer Mitarbeiterin sind wir am Nachmittag noch Skifahren gegangen. Super Empfehlung. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Cons:

Mini-Punkte, wie es für uns noch besser geworden wäre: mehr vegetarische Optionen im Restaurant und Obst zum Frühstück. Für die Sauna sollten wir einen Korb mit Handtücher erhalten, das ist leider vergessen gegangen (war für uns nicht dramatisch).
