Fantástica days in Highlander inn
Pros:

The room was so comfortable, clean and with everything we need for our days in speyside.
The bar is really incredible, the best selección of whiskies and very good for dinner to.
The view, the parking, all is perfect for a fantastic stay.

Cons:

The tv was to small!

Lovely hotel with gluten free breakfast, parking, pet friendly and friendly staff, ideal for a whisky-filled stay.
Pros:

Easy parking in front of the hotel, easy check-in and check-out, super friendly staff, THE WHISKY BAR, and a full English breakfast easily accommodated (gluten-free) for my wife. Carol was lovely with our little pet!

Cons:

They could have provided a table in the bar area for guests with pets. We would certainly have spent more if they offered guided whisky pairings with local chocolates, cheeses, or charcuterie. It would be a friendly way to introduce beginners like us to whisky.

Highly overrated pub. Find anywhere else if you can.
Pros:

Great place to sleep, but if you're awake.....find anywhere else to be at.

Cons:

Terrible pub. Food was not great and it was VERY boring. I would avoid it at all cost as there are much better places to spend an evening in the area.

Excellent Stay, But Let Down by the Manager’s Attitude
Pros:

The room and private bathroom were excellent. The food, breakfasts, and whisky bar were also excellent. The location was perfect and, overall, we had a very good experience.

Cons:

The only thing that really let the experience down, and the sole reason why I cannot give it a perfect 10, was the unpleasant attitude of the manager???/owner???/whatever he was???, a Japanese gentleman. Everything else was truly excellent.

Sehr gute Unterkunft incl. Abendessen und Bar im Zentrum des Whiskytrails
Pros:

Wir waren für eine Übernachtung mit Abendessen und Aufenthalt in der Bar im Highlander Inn. Die Zimmer waren von der Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Größe deutlich über dem Durchschnitt der Zimmer, die wir in den Tagen vorher in anderen Unterkünften hatten. Das Abendessen war sehr gut und das Frühstück in Ordnung. Hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen Gastgeber. Beim Angebot von ca. 400 unterschiedlichen Whiskys und einer guten Beratung, fehlt es diesbezüglich an nichts. Die Unterkunft ist als Startpunkt für Brennereibesichtigungen mit dem Bus hervorragend geeignet. Die Haltestelle ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und die Busse fahren ungefähr stündlich

The location is perfect for distilleries and sight seeing.
The pub alone is worth the visit. Fantastic selection of whiskies, knowledgeable and helpful staff
