We love everything about this hotel! This time we had a swim up room which was brilliant, we made holiday friends with the oter families using these pools. The beach side location is lovely as Cala Tarida is beautiful. Even at the open pools you could always get a sun bed. The food at the buffet is great and we ate once in the Italian whist we were there. The reception is a lovely chill out area, that smells great! We used the spa a couple of times for massages, I would like to give special thanks to Irerive, best massge ever!
We would also like to mention Jana from Guest Relations, she went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after during our trip.
We tried a swim up room this time and really enjoyed it. We had big plans to go out and explore the island but it was just so hot that for kids the pool was a far better option and we went between there and the beach. What was concerning however was that some guests jumped from pool to pool, which involved jumping from a height several times off of slippery tiles at the edge of the infinity pools. This not only looked extremely dangerous but was also a nuisance, as each pool should only be shared by the guests who have access to it from their rooms. It would be good if it was made clear that this is not allowed as it affected the comfort and safety of guests, especially younger children.
The food was good, but I did feel that it wasn’t as good as a previous visit. However I enjoyed all of the fish which tasted fresh, and I really liked the Mexican, Asian and Balearic theme nights. Staff were friendly and kind but sometimes at meal times it was quite difficult to make a drinks order as it was so busy. I also really felt for some staff who looked so uncomfortable in their uniforms, some were soaked right through with the heat. It would be good if they could wear branded shorts/short sleeve shirts - it could still look professional and keep them cool. I felt the entertainment was a bit flat and again not as good as last time, but this could be to do with people watching the World Cup instead of the entertainment.
Having returned to the Tui Blue at Tarida Beach for our 3rd year; we are again really impressed.
The resort is extremely clean and well kept and this has made our stay perfect.
We choose to spend our days up at the retreat as it’s a little calmer than the main pool; although a lot more fun at the same time. Our 10 and 7 year old just love the water park; albeit it small; it’s still plenty of fun for their ages.
The restaurant and bar is perfect for lunch time and the staff are a lot friendlier than you’d find around the other pools and restaurants.
Ramon is a credit to the hotel and goes beyond expectations. His friendly manner to both adults and children make the holiday.
Our children look forward to seeing Ramon and his service is second to none.
The staff serving lunch are also a credit and are very helpful.
The retreat is very clean and is continually cleaned throughout the day.
The evening entertainment could be better but this doesn’t put us off.
The rooms are cleaned daily with a choice of fresh linen and towels.
All staff are very friendly.
Compared to our usual visits which are slightly out of season; it was very busy here on this occasion but this is to be expected at the beginning of school holidays.
This was evident in the main restaurant at breakfast and dinner as the staff looked a little over worked and under staffed but this is not a criticism to them personally.
The food was still amazing as always and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Poached eggs and avocado on an all inclusive breakfast is definitely my highlight 🥑
We will be back ☀️
I have visited this hotel on many occasions over last 10years. The hotel is excellent and in a beautiful location. You walk straight out the hotel onto a lovely beach. Facilities at the hotel are excellent. We travelled as a family, 2 adults and 2 children 7years and 10years. They both loved the hotel and had great fun at The Retreat with the pools and slides.
Theres a good variety of food and restaurants to eat from. Food is a very good standard. The rooms are spacious well equipped and comfortable with ice cold air con.
We particularly enjoyed The Retreat, Ramon at The Retreat is extremely welcoming and runs an excellent bar and restaurant which although is busy is always clean and tidy and no queues for drinks. Ramon is a credit to the hotel. We will be returning again next year.
2nd year here and a great time again! Staff are all so friendly and helpful, food and drinks selection is fantastic, rooms and grounds are immaculate! Pool areas well staffed and clean and lovey atmosphere. Amazing sunsets from rooftop sunset bar!
Perfect holiday !
The strengths are great - really beautiful location - the forest is lovely and we had a wonderful room with a roof which looked out over the forest and the sea (1136).
The downside was that the cost was really high for the quality of the experience. The food is mediocre as are the drinks. It felt not at the levels of 5* all inclusive and we paid a lot (but didn't book a package deal so perhaps you can get it for a much more affordable rate. I did like it but wouldn't spend that level of money on it again.
Answer is yes! This is a beautiful resort, perfect for families. Food was great, lots of choice. The staff could be more helpful and welcoming. Room was clean and spacious with great air conditioning.. Only improvement would be better signage to get to the Retreat, which is well worth the short walk but thought we were lost on the first day.
This is our second visit to Tarida Beach Resort with TUI. I was worried that the second time might not live up to the memories of the amazing time we had the first time around but I really had no need to worry. This hotel is the perfect experience for us, from the food and the large range to choose from, the kids play areas and pools, the friendly staff, the cleanliness, the beach, the sunset bar and the well equipped gym. It really ticks all the boxes for us as a family of 4! The hotel is super family friendly. I admittedly probably wouldn’t come here if I didn’t have children as although there is adults only areas I feel like there is predominantly children and families in the hotel. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for an all inclusive holiday with their family who still want a bit of a luxurious feel.
Fantastic time , great food , presentation excellent, probably the best food we’ve ever had on a package holiday.
Great hotel, fantastic facilities and very friendly/helpful staff.
Our daughter’s wedding next door in Cas Mila so lots of family and friends were staying in the hotel.
The facilities were excellent and all ages were catered for
The self service food was good and the Italian restaurant within the hotel was excellent
We spent 10 days at the hotel and it is fantastic. The hotel was clean, spacious, beautifully kept and aesthetically stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and hardworking. We travelled with a 4 year old and a 4 month old and had a double room. The room itself wasn’t the biggest, but it served our family well. We did have an issue with the toilet filling up several times but this was resolved when flagged. The pools were great. We used all the pools available. The retreat was a great addition which included a slides, a splash pad, baby pool and activity pool. There was a play park, football pitch, tennis court and spa. The food and drinks at the retreat were always good. The beach is beautiful and the water was crystal clear. It was a little annoying at times as the vendors on the beach were very frequent and persistent. Also, due to the beach being public, there weren’t any sun beds available for guests. The food was great and a different theme available Monday to Sunday. There were fresh food cooking stations and a chef who would take you round if you suffered with any intolerances or allergies. Our 4 year old used the kids club and the staff were very friendly and engaging with the children. He wanted to go back every day! Overall, it was a beautiful family holiday with a mix of everything.
Lovely grounds, clean pool areas. Food was ok with veggie options available. Branded drinks included tio. Would definitely return. Very quiet resort with 1 shop and 2 restaurants outside the hotel that we saw.
The location is a little remote requiring a taxi if you want to leave the resort. Get the taxi APP its much cheaper than UBER. but still costs around Eu24 to go anywhere.
The hotel is a series of apartments running down a steep valley to the beach . This would be challenging for someone who is mobility impaired. The inclusive (and excellent) restaurant is towards the lower end of the site so if you are in a higher block it can be quite a walk uphill to your room.
The rooms are spotless, and ALL the staff are wonderful, attentive, friendly and take really good care of you. There were NO noise issues. I loved the place with the exception of the at la carte restaurant in which we were the ONLY pair dining one night. It was very expensive and the food was basically the same as in the inclusive some 2 floors below. Surprisingly there were loads of young families . the evening entertainment was not quite Hi de Hi. I only looked at it once. The odd thing was that the gym was half a mile up the road in another complex that I only visited once and it was closing in the late afternoon. Bit of a disappointment as I prefer the gym at 6 or 7 in the morning but not after a hike to get to it in the heat.
Fabulous hotel. All staff at all levels always had smiles on their faces and were always helpful. We loved the food and restaurants. All drinks were international. The bars were terrific. We had a swim up room which was worth the extra paid. Pools were clean and everywhere was spotless. If you have mobility issues it can be steep in places. We are but we took our time and managed quite well. We are going on 80 years old and we had a tremendous time. Best ever.
Lovely family friendly hotel. Clean spacious rooms, good facilities in all areas. Staff helpful and friendly. Ildefonso in the main restaurant is an absolute asset to the hotel.
Location- if you struggle with mobility , i would avoid this hotel, its set on on a hill and because the hotel its self it quite big, you find that yourself up and down to different parts, for example the restaurant is is in the middle of the complex, but the adult pool is at the bottom by the beach but the rooms are at the top, as relative fit active person we struggled with it.
During our stay at, it the hotel was very quite, there was a lady there that had said she has stayed at least 10 times over the previous 5 years and she had never known it so quite, entertainment for the adults was next to nothing, there was on 2 evening a DJ in the sunset bar was playing beleric beat but nothing you could sing to or dance too, i was surprised that there wasn't even water aerobic in the main pool, however there seemed to be entertainment for the kids, down by the adults pool in the evening , and also a kids club. At the main pool , there is a beach bar, which you can order snacks from, but lots of things unavailable off the bar menu including food and drinks, like ice-cream coffee, and a couple of times the slush machine went down. Food in the restaurant is plentiful, with lots of choice, and staff are always happy to help.
Rooms- we came for 5days for our wedding anniversary, we had a early morning flight from east mids- on arrival we were told we couldn't get in to our room until 3pm, i personal hadn't read this on the website, so that was my bad as i clearly had over looked it, and that really put me out , as we were left with our cases and no clear direction as what to do other that wait, my hubby did go and speak to a TUI rep who was extremely rude and made us look and feel like idiots, she had an awful attitude and basically said well its 3pm check in it states it on the web site, however i couldn't find it and it took them a while to also find it, she spoke to her male colleague so disrespectfully, i had to say something to her, then she replied with don't come at me, I've live on the island for 20yrs and check in is 3pm everywhere. however after all this drama we were given our room within in half hour. We had a swim up pool, which was really lovely , room its self was a bit battered and needed a bit of TLC , but over all ok. please note, room is only given water on arrival and you do have to go and refill the bottle your self in reception, the water bottle doesn't fit under the machine , and you have to be very careful not to flood reception. if you want your mini bar filled you can at the price of 42 euros for 10 items, Bali beds available at a cost - 35 euros for a couple and 47euros for a family for the day.
Beach is beautiful however also expensive, for, 4 adults loungers and parasol its 74 euros with a 40 euro minimum spend on food and drink,
Over all not to bad but needs improvement in all areas, we would not choose to stay here again , we paid just under £1800 for 2 adults for 5 days , we have stayed in far better .
Tui Blue Tarida beach is a wonderful hotel and we would definitely go back again in a heart beat.
It’s very clean, the staff are friendly and it has numerous pools to keep the family entertained. Plenty of entertainment in the evening too including a kids disco.
The food in the restaurants is superb for an all inclusive buffet style with everything catered for for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The hotel is located on a beautiful small beach with lovely warm waters where you can watch the sunsets each night, a lovely experience.
We recently stayed at the Insotel Tarida Beach Resort and had an enjoyable time. We have stayed in various places throughout Ibiza over the years as we enjoy the quick flight and direct flights from Glasgow.
The resort is advertised as 5 Star, I believe that’s their own rating as it is clearly no way near that rating.
We stayed in a top floor ‘’family room’’ which is basically a bathroom, double bed with an an adjacent room with twin beds and balcony. The housekeeping staff are very nice, friendly and helpful.
The adult pool area consisted of loungers and daybeds, which had to be paid for, all of which were not the cleanest along with the pool and surrounding area.
The dining room was the best part of the experience with a large adults only section. The dining staff were excellent along with the pool bar staff. The food was great and varied for everyone. Juan Carlos in the restaurant was great, Mateo, Sarah and Mabel at the bar were very friendly and helpful.
Overall I’d give the stay 3 Stars for the room size, conditions and general layout of the resort. The staff were the best part of the stay along with the restaurant.
This might seem a little bit harsh but value for money there’s better on the island. Just as well I didn’t mention the entertainment!
TUI Blue Cala Tirada wonderful place for families Room was a good size for a couple a bit of squeeze for family of four with luggage. Cleaned rooms every day service was good in restaurants. Only things I would have a gripe about would be weak alcohol in the cocktails which weren't up to scratch. The other gripe is if you are in a room at the bottom of the hill it's a trek up and down to the pool. Also if you have a early flight there's no bell boy to take your luggage up the hill!!
