The hotel was well located and the rooms were clean.
The owners are extremely cheap. There were many problems. First, the deluxe queen rooms are all vastly different sizes and quality for the same price. It is a gamble knowing what you will get and sure enough, we did not get a very “deluxe” queen room compared to the photos on the booking site for that specific room. When addressed, the owners did not want to reach any sort of compromise or resolution. The breakfast area is heavily monitored, feeling more like a boot camp cafeteria than a hotel cafe boasting a continental breakfast. The cafe area is setup in a self-serve style buffet, though you must wait in line and ask staff for each specific item and you are not allowed to take so much as an apple to your room. It felt extremely off-putting and uncomfortable. The positive reviews posted for this booking were certainly very generous…
The location was excellent, easy walking distance to Chateau Frontenac and all the fun of Old Quebec.
We enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning and the staff in the breakfast room were particularly lovely to interact with each morning. There were some different cereals with some nuts and raisins for topping, bagels, toast, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice. There was also a station where they could make you some silver dollar pancakes, some bacon or sausage in the warmer tray, and also some pastries like croissants.
Our room was on the 4th floor and they do have an elevator
Our room had a bit of old world charm with exposed brick walls and a quirky layout, very comfortable bed. I asked that the duvet be swapped out for a couple of blankets and that was handled promptly.
There was a mini fridge in the room as well as a Nespresso machine (with 3 large pods included-if you need more they are $2 each )
hair dryer in the bathroom, safe inthe bathroom, the reading light was also a phone charger, there was a plug in near the TV for my fire stick.
I do think that for 2 people they could have included more Nespresso pods - at least an even number!
I did not like the toiletries in the bathroom, tiny soaps and tiny shampoo bottles, etc.
I am not sure that the Air Conditioning worked in the room, there was a panel where I could change the temperature but nothing really seemed to happen, so if thatis important to you make sure you specify. its quite warm up on the 4th floor
While the rooms were small they offered all the necessities. Rooms were clean and breakfast was delicious. The location was convenient to the old town.
The beds were not comfortable and the pillows were substandard. Also, there needs to be a table on each side of the bed.
Lovely old hotel with old style interiors. Friendly staff and very good location. It makes a lovely change from ultra modern hotels with bland interiors
Breakfast was a bit confusing as some of it was self service and some of it was not. This was understandable after Covid. It worked well for coffee but not for the fridge and the pastries as the server had to keep moving from one side of the room to the another side of the room. However I would not let that stop you staying there.
Walking distance from all the must see spots in Quebec City. easy check in and good staff
Check in was easy. Clerk was very informative.
Perfectly located.
Nettes Personal.
Zimmer etwas klein.
Location was amazing. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was a welcome start and was full of options.
La localisation de l'hôtel
Impossibilité d'ouvrir les fenêtres dans la chambre. Mauvaise odeur de la chambre. Petit déjeuner mal organisé et malaisant.
This hotel is perfectly located. The breakfast staff is wonderful. They are friendly and helpful. It was a nice quiet setting in which to eat. They even had a gluten free cereal, which my wife appreciated. Just be sure to ask for it.
The young people working reception are not forthcoming with information. If you want a city map (they stock the free ones) you need to ask for one. They don’t know things like typical taxi costs from the train station to their hotel, etc. We would have liked to have known in advance that we had a room with a dormer ceiling. The toilet in our room didn’t flush properly.
Bon emplacement, à proximité de tout.
Le déjeuner était bien.
La chambre était propre.
La chambre était petite et pas vraiment bien insonorisée. Nous entendions les voisins tousser et les voisins d'en haut marcher.

Location was the best, close to everything The breakfast was well organized and good. Staff very helpful and always available. I would look forward to staying there again. The elevator was a bonus.
Room was a bit small but had everything we needed.
