During the summer season from End of May until October free parking is possible directly at the property. During winter the regular listed parking policy applies.

**Durchwachsener Aufenthalt – Preis und Leistung passen leider nicht zusammen**

Wir haben das Hotel Tauplitz Alm im Rahmen einer Aktion für 166 € pro Nacht gebucht. Zu diesem Zimmerpreis kamen noch extra Kosten für die Maut (16 €) und den Parkplatz (4,50 €) hinzu.

Das Zimmer selbst war ausgesprochen klein. Für ein Hotel in dieser Preisklasse haben uns zudem grundlegende Standards im Badezimmer gefehlt: Es gab weder einen Föhn noch Duschgel, was man bei diesem Budget schlichtweg erwarten darf.

Ebenfalls enttäuschend war das Abendbuffet für 29 € pro Person. Das Angebot war sehr minimalistisch gehalten – es gab lediglich Bratl oder ein einfaches Hühnchen-Reis-Gericht mit Soße. Für diesen Preis ist das definitiv zu wenig Auswahl und Qualität.

Ein absoluter Pluspunkt war das ungarische Personal: Die Mitarbeiter waren stets sehr freundlich und überaus bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Dennoch bleibt unterm Strich das Gefühl, dass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hier leider gar nicht stimmt.

Preis auf Plattformen über doppelt so hoch wie vor Ort oder über Telefon. Zimmerpreis wegen schlechter Qualität extrem überhöht
Zimmer lieblos unprofessional renovier, alte fleckigige Möbel, kein brauchbarer Tisch, Türschliesser knallen laut, hört man im ganzen gauszu, Bad Duschkopfhalter fällt herunter, kein Duschgel, Duschen Ablage sinnlos, Wasserhahn service Öffnung offen. Kastentüre schlägt falsch auf, Stiege Handlungen teilweise weggebrochen.

Lokalita úžasná. Horský zážitek si zde užijí nejen turisté, ale i lidé se zdravotními problémy.
Pros:

Snídaně a večeře výborné, široká nabídka, vybral si každý.

Cons:

Buď jsme si nevšimli nebo nebylo uvedeno - při příjezdu autem 1,5km před hotelem byla závora, která se otevírala na kód a museli jsme telefonicky zjišťovat ten kód.

Unkompliziertes angenehmes Hotel, sehr gut gelegen.
Pros:

Das neu renovierte Hotel liegt direkt am Sessellift von Bad Mitterndorf, eine gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen in alle Richtungen. Das Personal war freundlich und flexibel bezüglich Sonderwünsche zum Abendessen. Parkplatz im Sommer direkt vor dem Haus.

Cons:

Das Abendbuffet und auch das Frühstück sind ok, aber nicht aussergewöhnlich. Wir reisten allerdings auch in der nicht so starken Sommersaison, dadurch ist es verständlich dass etwas gespart wird. Die Zimmer sind klein, entsprechen aber der Vorinformation.

Pleasant stay in a wonderful location
Pros:

Everything is beautiful at Tauplitzalm. Starting from the location (the hotel is located right next to the cable car arrival station, close to a lake), to the way the hotel is arranged (the dining terrace is extremely well positioned) and to the friendliness of the staff, everything attracts you here. The area is quiet and full of trails, easily accessible for shorter or longer walks. The landscape is superb, typical of the Alpine area, and the breakfast is tasty and satisfying. The fact that you can be woken up in the morning by the rays of the sunrise is delightful.

Cons:

It is not necessarily a negative aspect, but it is good to know that, at least in our room, it was useful to have our own shower shampoo, since we did not find such a thing in the shower. We only had a soap at the sink. For those who want large rooms, we recommend choosing a south-facing room, which also has a balcony, the north-facing rooms being somewhat smaller, but this is specified at the time of booking and depends on the amount of money you want to allocate to the stay.
