The staff were exceptional, front desk, spa and restaurant, all were excellent.
Apparently only two lodges have views, the rest look like they are dotted around the carpark.
The apartment lodge was a great size with a good sized bathroom. Having a personal patio was a major benefit

Fantastic location with very friendly staff.
From the moment we stepped into the property, we could see it was modern and well looked after, but also had a cottage feel to it. We loved the interiors within the room and all around the building, along with the golf club restaurant which we enjoyed being seated at every morning. And not to mention the spa, that was one of our favourite parts.
The staff were so lovely, special mention to Ben and I believe it was Karen? They both made our stay extremely special for my birthday.
Restaurant not open neither was the bar. When I arrived it was as though I should have known even though I had just paid £166 for a night whilst I was nearly 2 hours away and just needed a quick hotel and was in need of dinner. Reception seemed to find it funny whilst eating his own meal from a Tupperware box!! Won’t stay there again

Brilliant location, the rooms was great.
The beds kept sliding apart, it would be useful if they were clamped together at the feet for those who wanted a double bed, rather than two singles.

Excellent location. Comfortable rooms.
Loved the country style of this property, nicely furnished and decorated.
When arriving at our room, the lodge was booked as a birthday present. After a day at work we just wanted to shower and go to a local pub for food. The shower had a wet dirty towel in it, a member of staff was alerted and he removed the towel.
Going back into the room, dirty water had been dripped all the way through the bedroom and other dirt was found around the tap in the bathroom and around the flush on the toilet. There was also a dead wasp on the floor and a plastic cap on the floor in the bedroom.
Although being moved to a new room, this was not the experience that I was wanting for my partners birthday and this also made it hard to find food in a local pub as they had stopped serving food.
