Staf davvero molto gentile, Mahinda molto disponibile!
Colazione ottima e fatta al momento, le stanze erano spaziose e pulite.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Monkeys came on the balcony, keep your windows closed. We moved to a downstairs room after the first night. Much better room.
Breakfast was basic, but ok. Long walk from town centre, not many Tuk Tuks. Difficult to find a restaurant.
Stairs to the upstairs room were very unstable and unsafe. Room was given to us due to our original room having plumbing issues.
Loved the rooms and the fact that Netflix was also available is a huge plus point.
Would have appreciated some drinking water and coffee sachets to be provided.
La camera è essenziale ma pulita. Letto molto comodo. Dotata di aria condizionata. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile ad organizzare Safari/Taxi per spostamenti, a prezzi ragionevoli. C’è anche l’angolo bar con buoni piatti (riso al curry meritevole).
Ottima frutta e i succhi. Leggermente alto il prezzo rispetto agli standard Sri-lankesi.
Quando si fa la doccia tende ad allagarsi il bagno.

I had a really nice stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, with cozy beds, and the location was excellent. It was very convenient to get around, with most of the main attractions in Anuradhapura within about 10 minutes.
A special mention to Danupa at the reception. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable during our stay. His customer service and communication really stood out and made the experience much better.
Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay in a great location. I would definitely love to visit again
Very disappointing experience – poor management
The power failure since the morning was understandable, as power outages can happen due to circumstances beyond the hotel’s control. However, what was completely unacceptable was the hotel having no power backup and no proper plan to handle the situation, especially when it comes to taking care of guests.
At around 7:30 AM, I went to the cafeteria and spoke to a staff member about arranging breakfast for around 10:00 AM. He did not ask me what breakfast options I wanted, so I went back to my room.
Around 10:00 AM, I returned to the cafeteria, but the staff member I had spoken to earlier was no longer there. A Tamil-speaking female staff member and a receptionist informed me that breakfast was not available because of the power failure.
I then asked to speak with the manager. I was told that the manager was not available in Sri Lanka and that she could not speak with him that morning. This made the situation even more frustrating, as there appeared to be no responsible management available to properly address the guest’s concerns.
After waiting for around 20 minutes, I was finally offered two omelets, and I said No which were nowhere near adequate considering the price I had paid for the hotel and breakfast. Alternatively, I was told I could wait another hour for breakfast to be prepared.
Unfortunately, I could not wait because my taxi had already arrived to pick me up.
I then spoke with the previous receptionist,(Danupa) who was on leave. He offered me a $6 refund. Since I had no other practical option at that point, I accepted the refund and left.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Power failures can happen, but a hotel should have backup power or at least a proper contingency plan, especially for essential services such as breakfast. More importantly, the communication between staff and guests needs significant improvement.
