Pros:

It was a very nice property

Cons:

It was a very hot few days and even though we had a fan, needed the windows open. Unfortunately there was a seating area outside our window and smoke came into our room. After 2 nights we had to leave as my husband is quite allergic. Had to forfeit our third nights fee.

I stayed for work, but will be back again on my own time.
Pros:

Fantastic character, but also well modernised, with great facilities. Dinner in the restaurant was of a high standard also.

Cons:

The lane which leads to the hotel is incredibly narrow. There is a long two way stretch that is the width of one car. This is not a criticism. Just to make others aware.

So comfortable, nick and his staff are amazing!
Pros:

The air-con was incredible as we were there during the heatwave, the bed was very comfortable, the room was perfect for our one night stay and the location is really cute.

Cons:

Nothing, it is great

Friendlier staff would have made a huge difference
Pros:

Nice location in the countryside, easy parking and nice restaurant downstairs.

Cons:

A disappointing stay - overpriced small rooms with some really rude members of staff at the check in desk (not the bar/restaurant staff who were really lovely). This was experienced at multiple time points and for different members of our party. All round they made our stay slightly unpleasant and ruined the experience. Would not recommend. We stayed over a heatwave too and there was no AC or fans.

Average at best
Pros:

Specifically asked for table in the bar area to have dinner upon booking, however was given a table in the ‘dining room’ which looks like it belongs in a care home. Lady waiter very abrupt, not rude, just didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. Asked for ice twice, eventually had to go to the bar and get it myself after 20 minutes. Food was okay. Probably won’t be back.

Family event
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean and quiet room.

Cons:

Lumpy pillows, the mattress was uncomfortable and definitely was not a king-size bed as advertised...did notify the reception but, was told all the rooms have a king size beds.
