Not at all to be recommended!
Cons:

There was no one at the reception for hours .had to wait in the heat .then decided to go somewhere else .
Unacceptable. It looked like a ghost house from outside

Pros:

Slightly dated hotel, but in the most convenient location possible when you’re hiking the Eifelsteig. Right next to the beautiful Himmerod Abbey. Friendly owner. Decent room. And basic, good breakfast.

Cons:

Don’t expect anything fancy. It’s just good, and therefore great value. Oh, and note that the good quality restaurant nearby closes early, at 18:00 already.

Pros:

Wonderful experience staying here. Excellent hospitality, friendly, kind, very caring. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Definitely stay here if you're looking for that cozy, authentic experience in Germany.
The room was modern, with a comfy bed and great shower. Very clean and quiet. Lots of parking.
The Abbey is amazing too, with a little shop selling their goods. Fruit trees surround the property.
There's a little bakery across the way that serves amazing cakes and breads.
This experience will hold a special place in my heart.

Cons:

Room was a little warm until it cooled down at night.

Authentiek verblijf, ideaal voor overnachting tijdens trektocht
Pros:

Mooi, oud gebouw van +200 jaar oud, vlak naast het klooster. Zeer vriendelijke en lieve gastvrouw. Schoon bed, mooi uitzicht. Eenvoudige accommodatie, ideaal voor avontuurlijke wandelaars.

Cons:

Amper verbinding met openbaar vervoer als je je wandeling op een andere plek wilt verderzetten. Gelukkig kreeg ik een lift van de gastheer, heel fijn.

Nábytek je sice starší, ale pokud potřebujete na jednu noc přespat, za tu cenu není co řešit. Vyborná lokalita s blízkos

Ruhiges Hotel mit komfortablen Zimmern; neben dem Kloster, am Eifelsteig.
Pros:

Ruhige Lage, aufmerksame Gastgeberin, komfortables Zimmer. Abendessen speziell für uns zubereitet, obwohl Restaurantbetrieb eingestellt wurde (wegen Personalmangels)
