The Lulo family have by far the best hotel in all of Gjirokastër.
Pros:

Fantastic location just below the castle, and just above the bazaar area. You couldn’t ask for a more prime location. The property is neat, clean, comfortable, and has the best views you could possibly ask for.

Cons:

Everything was outstanding. There is nothing to not like.

Perfect place to stay.
Pros:

Wonderful people, great breakfast, close to the bazaar and castle. Tricky for cars but they will help you figure that out. Walking up and down to the bazaar requires decent shoes like sneakers as it's steep and cobbled.

Ontbijt met uitzicht

Cons:

Hygiëne van de badkamer. Schimmel op het houten prullenbakje. Veel stof in de afzuiging en de wc recht tegenover de douche was ook niet praktisch ivm water.

Verder na een nacht geen nieuwe handdoeken gekregen of tussencontrole van de kamer.

Hotel amb encant al cor de gjirokaster.
Pros:

Hotel situat al casc antic de gjirokaster, molt aprop del basar, el castell i les cases otomanes. L'hotel per dins era preciós. També inclou un esmorzar molt bo a la terrassa amb molt bones vistes de tot el poble. Si has d'aparcar el cotxe, els hi comentes i et reserven un espai just al costat del hotel.

Pros:

A cozy, family-owned hotel about 30 minutes walk from Gjirokastër Castle, and a 10 minute walk from main bazzar and market. The rooms are clean and decorated with traditional Albanian touches. Conveniently located near great restaurants and highly recommended for a comfortable stay.

Pros:

The hotel is family owned with a big balcony overlooking the city and castle!
We parked in the street near the hotel.
The rooms are modern, charming and comfortable.
It is 2 mins walking to the castle and around 7 mins walking to the Bazaar, although it seems a very steep walk back it is indeed a quick walk up, we didn’t use the car during our stay.
The breakfast is served in the balcony and it was great!

Best way to arrive in the hotel through the new road instead of the old stone roads is to put in the GPS the parking near the castle (the hotel is right next to it)

Déception sur le dîner pris à l'hôtel, très peu de choix. A deconseiller
