All of it! The room was so comfortable and beautifully furnished. We were delighted to have a bath..
Breakfast was very tasty ....staff friendly and courteous.
The shower was a little difficult to decipher, but staff leapt up the stairs to help!!
A drying room would have been helpful, although we discovered afterwards that there was somewhere we could have put wet clothes and swimwear.
Diners were seated a little close together in the glass area of the dining room, even though only half of the room was in use. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Loved the location
The room was rather small
The property was in a great location with a beautiful five minute walk to the seafront. The beds were super comfy and staff really friendly on our arrival.
Nothing, only wish we got to stay longer.
Breakfast was exceptional and the bed was really comfy and the setting was lovely
Prices of food and drink quite expensive
High standards of cleanliness, great breakfast and friendly staff, hence why we are an annually returning customer
Sunday Roast in the attached restaurant sells out faster than expected and limited menu for those liking lean meat (chicken, turkey etc)
Location was superb.
Bit old fashioned inside. Bathroom very small.
Perfect location near the sea, with a beautiful walk along the coast. Really friendly staff and good food. Diolch yn fawr i chi
We had the infamous room number 7 !!! The only room available at the time of booking. Having read the reviews we were expecting the worse. We were welcomed on arrival by the pleasant Tash who was very friendly and informative. We entered room 7 with trepidation, (I had only informed my wife of the room's poor reviews upon arrival to the hotel). On first impressions we were both pleasantly surprised at the clean and tidy well maintained condition of the room, even though it was late afternoon, there weren't any noticeable kitchen odours or ventilation noises. Overnight and for the rest of our stay we found the room to be comfortable, cosy and quiet. The room was quite warm, however we did not need to use the table fan which was provided, although I can imagine that this would be required though the recent heatwaves. The room, although on the small side, was perfectly adequate for us, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV worked fine, the WiFi was good, the tea, coffee, milk, etc' was replenished daily, the shower was good, although a bit fiddly if you're used to an electric shower, it didn't take long for us to master the controls. The hotel itself is fantastic, with a good history and lovely original/period features, the breakfasts offered many choices, we are Vegetarians and the staff catered for this without any problems. The staff were great, friendly, courteous and efficient. The actual photos don't really do the hotel justice, the decor, cleanliness and maintenance is very high quality and the views from the front of the hotel over to the village are brilliant. It's a ten minute walk from the hotel, across two fields, past the unconcerned sheep, (they were always too busy eating to notice you passing them by) to get to the beach, harbour and village.
Nothing to dislike for us, although everyone has differing expectations and experiences which should be respected. We would definitely revisit again
Excellent breakfast,good choice and quality.
Friendly,helpful staff.
Lovely location and scenery.
All areas well maintained and clean.
Housekeeping in bedroom ,excellent for cleanliness and restocking items.
No issues for our stay but no lift in the hotel which could be an issue for anyone with mobility problems as they are all upstairs. The hotel does make this clear on their website.
Lovely staff and great location
The worlds longest building extension project is still ongoing.
Friendly, helpful, attentive staff in all parts of the hotel and restaurant.
Short walk to the beach, given very clear directions by the very helpful lady on reception.
Bed was very comfortable, room 1 at the back of the hotel was very quiet.
Took a while to work out the shower, but that wasn't a big problem.
Breakfast was nice, with a good selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and a cooked Welsh breakfast also offered.
Will definitely come back
