Breakfast was tasty and good value for money. Friendly staff.
Little things needed attention; for example, toilet seat was broken, night lamp on the right side of the bed was not working. Bath towel had a tear in it. No bottle of water on the desk. One little milk pot (for the coffee) on the tray in the room was used/empty. No brown sugar in the tray, only white.

The staff were lovely. The restaurant, bar and facilities downstairs were excellent.
We loved the location, which is ideally situated near the stylish areas of Wilmslow and Alderley Edge. The culinary experience was also a major plus, as the food was flawless throughout our visit. The menu offered a fantastic selection of beautifully cooked, comforting dishes that were full of flavor. Every meal was served hot, generously portioned, and executed to absolute perfection, making dining here a true highlight of our stay.
Booked a family room with a sofa bed, and requested in advance for the sofa bed to be made up for our arrival. Sadly, this was not done.
Clean and tidy modern room and bathroom.
I did ask for a quiet room but was placed opposite the outdoor event building so could hear music. It stopped by 10pm so was ok. Didn’t have breakfast but bar area was nice to sit on before bed.
The fan provided was a bit weak.
Stylish building, lovely scent as walked into reception area, every area of hotel looked clean and welcoming. Good parking space, outdoor seating area, well stocked bar. Pleasant staff, spacious room, great shower, upright fan in lieu of air conditioning.
Creaky floorboards. But then it is an older building in a good location.
Nice building
Check-in closes at 10:00 p.m. Since I was arriving later than that, I completed all the required steps for a late check-in, including pre-payment and the online check-in procedure. However, I never received any instructions on how to collect the room key.
Fortunately, a colleague who was already staying at the hotel received instructions on my behalf. They said I should use a side entrance, ring the bell, and wait for the night porter.
Unfortunately, this procedure did not work:
* the doorbell was not working;
* my colleague let me into the building, but there was no key available for my room;
* the night porter arrived only after about 30 minutes and told me that I should have called him instead.
Incidentally, another colleague of mine had experienced the same problem. He did try calling the number provided, but the only response was an automated message telling him to “call tomorrow.”
On top of that, there was an unpleasant sewer smell coming from the bathroom, as it is affecting the comfort of the room.

You double booked my room and had another rooms . Nit even an offer of finding me somewhere else to stay of any kind of compensation. I had an absolute nightmare trying to find alternative accommodation on a Friday evening . Not happy
