The Hotel is rather dated!
Lovely clean hotel with good facilities.
Hotel decided that Tuesday 01 September was effectively another bank Holiday so started breakfast later. This meant I couldn't get breakfast before starting an eight hour journey. I had chosen this hotel over cheaper room only options so that I could get breakfast. Very disappointing.
We had a lovely room with sea view, very clean and comfy, great location, and fabulous tasty breakfast, also parking around the back of the hotel, we will be back I did not want to leave!
Bed was a little tight to wall not much space, room on the small side!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Richmond Hotel in Aberystwyth. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the seafront and within easy walking distance of the town centre, shops, restaurants and promenade.
Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was definitely a highlight, especially being able to enjoy the beautiful views and easily explore Aberystwyth on foot.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and the selection of continental and hot food breakfast options were good quality. A great choice if you want a comfortable hotel in an excellent seafront location.
Breakfast was mostly good. Service here was excellent. Great view along the prom towards the pier. The staff throughout were excellent
Poor breakfast sausages, very ordinary bread. Couple of annoying issues in the bathroom - toilet seat not working correctly, shower door partly broken but still usable.

I did ask for sea view which we got.
I also asked for ground floor or first floor room with walk in shower as my husband has mobility issues. Again we got what we asked for.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Has its own car park which is great . Breakfast was fabulous, plenty of choice and all freshly cooked.
Room was lovely. Comfy bed, had small table and chairs in the window where we could have a cuppa watch the world go by. First night there we were a bit hot with duvet, so asked for sheet and thin blanket on bed, not a problem, soon sorted.
Would recommend this hotel.
