Luogo paradisiaco e prefetto per un soggiorno di puro relax
Pros:

La struttura è bellissima e mantenuta molto bene

Cons:

Durante il soggiorno qualche attività extra di intrattenimento sarebbe l’ideale! Il cibo presentava un ottima varietà a colazione ma a cena risultava molto limitato quindi dire da migliorare un po’

Pros:

Heel goede ligging, prachtige strand, heel lekker eten en leukste is het personeel: super vriendelijk, behulpzaam en toffe entertainment team (Noman, Nassir, Jasmine). We hebben een leuke tijd gehad met hun. Receptie is flexibel en behulpzaam ivm verlenging verblijf etc.

The sellers on the beach were very annoying and would come up to sell you things and ask if you’d want to buy their services. No matter how many times we said no they’d not stop.

Ein wirklich tolles Hotel mit freundlichem, aufmerksamen Personal, schönen Zimmern und einer Liegefläche direkt vor dem Strand/Meer. Ich war als Solo-Traveller unterwegs und habe mich immer sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Auch die Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Hotel und dem TuckTuck-Driver Daniel hat meinen Aufenthalt positiv geprägt - er wurde eine echte Vertrauensperson für mich. Herzlichen Dank für die schönen Stunden im Safari Beach Hotel. PS: die Affen innerhalb der Anlage sind ein echtes Erlebnis. :))

Beautiful hotel on the beach surrounded by nature
Pros:

Safari Beach Hotel is really amazing! Immersed in a lush garden, with a beautiful pool and a large area to relax between the pool and the stunning beach (soft white sand and lots of space, not too many beach boys, of course some algae with low tide). Welcoming staff, always smiling and ready to help, a special mention to Joannes who assisted us with a problem I will mention below. All buildings making up the hotel (reception, bars and buffet restaurant) are beautiful and one with the nature around them, including the rooms, supplied with everything that was necessary. Bathrooms could be modernized a bit, but no particular issues. Nice monkeys walking around everywhere! Shuttle service provided to/from Ukunda Airport was fine.

Cons:

There could probably be more variety at the buffet restaurant, especially for children, especially in the evening. Breakfasts were fine. They were a bit late in starting lunch service, which was an issue on the last day when we had to leave to the airport. The a la carte restaurant was very slow in service, which is probably in line with the general "pole pole" atmosphere ;-). But honestly at least on holiday...... who cares!
I'd like to mention one special issue that occurred during our stay at SBH as it may be useful for other clients. We booked a whole-day excursion at Wasini Island through the reception (which had strongly advised us against using the beach boys). Unfortunately the weather was bad already early in the morning but no one suggested to postpone. We had our 1-hou-drive to the place where boats left, we left late because the boat turned out not to have enough life vests onboard, the sea was rough, there was pouring rain at some point, the boat itself didn't seem to be in good conditions in terms of safety and had a protection against the rain which was broken, we saw no dolphins, did no snorkeling and did not stop at the sandbank. So, a total disaster and disappointment, which could have been avoided by postponing the excursion, which the organisers where certainly not interested in, and which we pointed out at the reception on our coming back. Joannes was particularly concerned and interested in knowing how things went, but I suggest to take your precautions and postpone this type of excursions in case of bad weather, because the orgnisation at Wasini will not do it, nor check weather forecasts.

Pros:

Traumhafte, direkte Strandlage mit vielen schönen Schatten- und Sonnenplätzen unter den Palmen. Strandtücher werden gestellt und die Liegen werden wunschgemäß hergerichtet.
Sehr gutes, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück mit frischen Eierspeisen auf Wunsch.
Das À-la-carte-Restaurant am Strand bietet leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen (lediglich der Burger war nicht ganz unser Fall).
Sehr gute Cocktails und Getränke.
Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und stets bemüht.

Cons:

Die gesamte Anlage und vor allem die Zimmer sind stark in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchten dringend eine Renovierung. Besonders das Badezimmer war alt, abgewohnt und leider nicht wirklich sauber.
Sehr lange Wartezeiten an der Bar: Trotz mehrerer Mitarbeiter hinter der Theke und wenig Betrieb dauerte es oft 20 Minuten bis zur Karte und nochmals so lange bis zur Bestellung.
Wiederholte Stromausfälle während unseres Aufenthalts, darunter auch ein längerer.
Vorsicht vor den Affen: Einer schaffte es trotz geschlossener Tür ins Zimmer und musste vertrieben werden.
Kleiner Tipp für andere Gäste: Vor Ort bei Tourenverkäufern wie „Ronaldo“ aufpassen – die Angebote sind überteuert und nichts Besonderes.
