Breakfast, rooms
Waiter don't know what is served in veg breakfast. Everyone should get unique veg breakfast.. some people two veg sausage and we got one on day3 stay. Day2 breakfast was awesome
Great location for Betws-y-Coed, comfortable, spotlessly clean, modern decor, great food (we only had breakfast). All staff were friendly, polite and welcoming.
Nothing!
Excellent
It could have been cheaper
The location was great close the nature and a short drive to zip world which was our main reason for the visit.
The bar and restaurant is not at a standard you’d expect. The food we had first night was very poor for what it costs. 10 mins drive is the village but the staff didn’t inform about the area and near by alternative facilities
Room was lovely. The village is very nice. I liked having a room at the back separate to the main building. For a relaxing get away we couldn’t really have done better. The Welsh breakfast was wonderful. Quiet and charming.
Dinner was a little expensive. Pancakes at breakfast were not warm. WiFi was pretty terrible. Main road adjacent made the front of the hotel trafficy, but the back was surprisingly quiet.
The suite rooms were perfect for our needs. Quiet and spacious, and we particulary liked the living area (sofa/coffee table) plus tea/coffee making facilities. Very comfortable beds and good blackout curtains. The garden and outside seating areas were lovely. Great location on the edge of the village, good access without being too busy. Welsh-speaking staff much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent.
The shower was rather weak, and it would have been nice to have a small fridge just for milk or cold drinks.
Great all round hotel.
Arrived early, lady on reception allowed us to take our room 3 hours early.
Nothing
Location
All good
The lodge was very spacious, clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very hearty. They are amazingly dog friendly. The tea and coffee making facilities and fridge were excellent. TVs in every bedroom and sitting area. Lovely little decking area outside. Handy walks for dogs from the back of the hotel. Plenty of parking.
The Internet in the lodge was quite weak and kept cutting out. You had to remember and give a time for breakfast. There was no way to clean your coffee cups, and whilst the lidges were serviced, this was not done if you left your dogs in the room. There were only 3 of us staying for 2 days so we just used all the mugs. The kitchen closes very early on Sunday. We would have liked to eat in the hotel but were forced to go elsewhere as we could not make it back in time for 7pm kitchen closing
Room great, staff friendly. Nice bar and feel to place. Plenty of free parking.
Breakfast, scenery, leisure facilities esp pool and the staff
Would like a little fridge would have been good to keep the babys milk
Location great. Clean. Nice big, modern bathroom.
Single ply toilet roll, bedroom a bit old fashioned. Old flat pillows.
