Delightful Friendly Hotel
Pros:

A hotel full of character and charm. A beautiful location looking out towards the English Channel. Warm and friendly staff. Superb restaurant.

Clean, comfortable, good value for money
Pros:

Contact was made by Whatsapp a few days before re check in, wifi code etc as pub was closed on a Monday and a Tuesday.
Room was clean, bed comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities and sparkling water available.
Location was ideal to visit family in Battle.

Cons:

Having to leave!

A lovely peaceful break away from London life.
Pros:

Great view from the room. Very peaceful and calm. Easy access to the town and local facilities.

Cons:

I would have been nice if breakfast was served on site. However, there was a lovely café and general store a short walk away.

Lovely comfortable room and great bathroom. The room had pleasant views and was exceptionally clea. And a good size.

Because I was there on a Monday there was nobody there and I didn’t have a code to get in but this was soon sorted out so 100% ok

Pros:

Amazing views from the Turners View room, superb staff, excellent food and service. What a find, such a great place and local cafe serves a top breakfast.

Pros:

We had taken 2 rooms. One room faced the view, one faced the road. The road is noisy, so if possible, request the room facing the back of the facility. They had put a fan in the room, which was really well received due to the heat that the UK was experiencing.

Cons:

The stairs up to the rooms are a bit steep. Its not a huge problem as this is not advertised as a disability inclusive facility, but worth mentioning as it is challenging for anyone elderly. Also, sound travels between rooms. Luckily I know my neighbours.

Fabulous views, amazing staff, super comfortable room but...
Pros:

Staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Excellent customer.service and always smiling. The views were breathtaking and the food superb.

Cons:

Our room faced the road and was therefore very noisy because of the cars. Felt like Silverstone at times.

Highly recommend and would visit again
Pros:

We received a warm welcome, plenty of parking and an incredible location. The room was immaculate and we very much appreciated the fan. Views incredible. And we were able to book a table on arrival which was very accommodating considering we only checked in at 7:30pm, so thank you. Food was delicious and good value as were the cocktails. Enjoyed a morning cup of tea in peace on the terrace listening to birdsong

Amazing! Friendly! Helpful! Clean.
Pros:

The team are super friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. the room was comfy, clean and perfect for what we needed. I wish we could have tried the restaurant as it looked amazing. I hope to visit again.
