Good location central & parking easy to get.
When we arrived we checked in and was aware of the £10 per night parking charge, however being charged a £40 refundable damage deposit I found extremely odd as I’ve never experienced this before and wasn’t made aware of this prior to booking.
We went to the bar to grab a drink before going up to the room, there was no staff tending the bar for at least 20 minutes, when we did get our drinks we got informed the ice machine was broken, which we found there was a large puddle of water in the bar seating area with no wet floor signs. I got a double gin & lemonade in a tiny glass, with a very small can of lemonade which was unbearable personally for me, he then provided me with a larger glass & another can of lemonade upon request from myself.
My partner had a pint from the taps, and the bartender was very incapable of pouring a pint, as half of the glass was foam, so provided him with two glasses of this.
When we were going up to the room, we went up in the lift as we had a heavy suitcase to find that the lift could barely fit my partner and suitcase, I’ve never seen a lift this small in my life. We got up to the room, and we opened the door to find somebodies belongings in here, which we found was a massive concern. We informed reception of this, and asked promptly for a different room. When we got upstairs to the room we got given a free upgrade which was lovely however, the room was dirty, full of dust, boiling hot with no fan or air-con which I find bizarre in a newer hotel. Me and my partner both decided that we felt unsafe and uneasy staying here so booked another hotel and left promptly. When we asked reception about the belongings in the room we got told this was housekeeping’s belongings which I found very odd, as it was obvious someone was staying in this room.
They did provide me with a refund for parking and the damage, and will be getting in touch for a refund for the hotel as this was unacceptable.
Location to the beach.
No AC, breakfast not all that, very strong air fresheners in the hallways. Rooms was so poor. Should have booked a premier inn, would have been nicer and cheaper.
It was ok
Needs up dating
Everything was fine, except the water was too hot and I couldn't adjust it with cold water.
Localisation
No air conditioning and any fun
No hot water in the bathroom
No freshly towels
Breakfast was poor, little touches like no cutlery on the table. Limited selection with eggs, no fried or poached. Limited selection of fruit. No tea spoons at breakfast. Bathroom has mould all around the window. Shower was poor, fixtures were badly fitted loose and wonky plugs.
Everything
That they have no aircon and my double bed was 2 singles put together so you could feel the middle but was comfy enough
Located very close to everything
The room had no aircon, it was very small even the shower and the loft was extremely small. Maintenance staff just walked straight into our room no knock, nothing just straight in on top of us and only for my partner was at the door they would have walked in on me changing after a shower.
Great location! Could walk to the beach
The staff were also very nice and courteous
The cubicle in the bathroom was too small… difficult to move inside
one of the best and the price is affordable
The only thing that was good about this hotel ws the proximity to the beach
Where to start.... Dirty, hot rooms with a poorly laid out, minuscule bathroom with a shower that only small children would fit in. Worn furniture, shoddy workmanship everywhere. Not what I would expect of a Radisson at all....
nothing
No hot water in the shower. Terrible experience. I booked the nigh to use the room for less than 1 hour to take a shower before my train and to my surprise the shower was cold. When I called reception they said "give me 1 minute" and then never called back. At reception when I went to complain, they said "write us an email".
What a joke of a hotel
Very comfortable stay. Friendly staff and very clean. First hotel in Bournemouth where we had bedding change every day. And breakfast has a lot of choices.
Well, not to mentioned amazingly convenient locations for local transport and train station. No idea why we never discovered in 15 years we come to stay I. Bournemouth. Special thank you to Rajat and Kavya.
All good 😊
The hotel was well located for my purpose.
The hotel has a shabby appearance with superficially painted surfaces to hide the lack of investment.
The bathroom was tiny and although the fittings looked relatively new there was a tile missing and the shower fitment was loose. There was no hot water.
