Please note, THIS PROPERTY IS NOT LOCATED IN THE KINGSHOUSE STOP ON THE WEST HIGHLAND WAY but situated on The Rob Roy Way near Balquhidder within The Trossachs National Park, MHOR 84 offers free WiFi and free on-site parking.

Perfect stop en route in a friendly comfortable setting
Pros:

Super friendly welcome on arrival. Room small but clean and you can see from decor throughout that care is taken. We were in a cottage out back and 4 rooms to a bungalow felt compact and thin walls felt nervous about noise. However it was a peaceful night and a good sleep.
Lovely toiletries and powerful showers much appreciated.

Cons:

Beds were v squeaky, tv had no reception so no channels or ability to cast streaming platforms. Small things but can make a difference….

Świetnie usytowany hotelik przy głównej drodze na północ, z widokiem na góry. Energiczny, młody personel. Bardzo wygodne łóżka i wysokiej jakości kosmetyki w lazience. W barze przy life-music zjedliśmy na kolację smaczną zupę krem i wielką bezę z domowymi lodami na deser. Śniadanie - wybraliśmy z karty- szeroki wybór. Hotel znajduje się w bardzo starym budynku, ma niesamowitą atmosferę schroniska górskiego.

We hope to return to this perfect location. The staff are very obliging and welcoming.
Pros:

Fantastic location. Friendly and attentive staff. Seating at a different area each day for our meals, providing a variety of views of the surrounding countryside.

Cons:

There was no handrail near the bath to grab hold of to get in and out of the shower/bath. The bedroom floor was very uneven, which is very olde world, but not so wonderful for someone who might be a bit unsteady on their feet.
The shrub outside the window blocked any view that might be there. If there is a garden to see it would be an idea to cut it back a bit.

Pros:

We hebben een erg prettig verblijf gehad. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. De familiekamer was ruim, mooi ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht was prachtig en zorgde voor een extra ontspannen gevoel. De relaxte sfeer in het hotel maakte ons verblijf helemaal compleet. Zeker een aanrader!

Pros:

Accueil très chaleureux, chambre familiale conforme à la description, literie satisfaisante et propreté irréprochable. Jolie vue sur la montagne, malgré la pluie! Nous avons également dîner au restaurant, c'était un peu cher mais de bonne qualité.

Cons:

Petit déjeuner un peu cher et pas forcément à notre goût, nous avons donc petit dejeuné ailleurs.

Aangenaam verblijf maar te duur voor eenvoudige kamer zonder privacy
Pros:

Locatie, rustig en gezellig en goed restaurant.

Cons:

Kamer was aan een klein pleintje waar auto’s ook geparkeerd werden. Deze stonden voor het raam. Mensen liepen ook vlak langs je raam waardoor je geen privacy had. Kamer schoon maar zeer eenvoudig.
