The room and the parking place in front of the hotel
Breakfast waiting time
Comfy beds
I was disappointed with the breakfast arrangements. The staff gave the impression that it was a hardship to serve us. We ordered a cooked breakfast and a coffee which was nice but didn't have access to anything else like fruit, cereals, toast, juice, a second coffee etc. We were also sat in a darkened room. Not the kind of relaxing leisurely breakfast I was hoping for on a weekend away.
Quirky and tasteful decor
Not really anything
Such a wonderfully and intriguing building - steps up and down and up again! The staff was wonderful and very helpful, especially the young lady who worked most weekday mornings - I hate that I never caught her name. Kudos to her, though.
Nothing you can do about it, but the room was very warm and the lighting is really very poor. No matter where you stand you are standing in your own shadow. Part of the charm of a historic building, I guess ;)
Location. Quirky decor. Great breakfast. Lovely staff.
Location, comfort
Room wasn’t clean, cobwebs, dusty. Asked for more tea bags which were delivered but staff didn’t take used cups away. Coffee machine not filled with water and not possible to fill from tap. General areas not vacuumed.
We loved everything, especially the charming and smiley multi talented Olivia on the front desk. She was friendly, efficient, helpful and seemed to be everywhere doing everything, with charm and grace.
The hotel is modern but stylish, lots of little details (mini milk in the fridge for morning tea, a personalised welcome note in the room, a double sided magnifying mirror for make up…) and the room and bed was so comfortable. Great shower, super breakfast.
Nothing
Beautiful hotel and beautiful room! The receptionist was so lovely - I wish I got her name but she was so friendly and kind. Absolutely everything about our stay was wonderful!
Genuinely can’t say anything negative about this place. We loved it and plan to stay again!
Convenient car park over the Road.
Stayed at the Ingleside for 2 nights ( 3 and 4th May)
The room smelled strongly of damp we went down to reception nobody on reception,
Day two, no fresh towels in the room went down to reception again nobody staffing reception,
Not good enough for the £420 price tag
Avoid
The decor was beautiful. The lounge room was especially stunning. Our room was small but comfortable. Our parents and friends seemed to get much bigger, better rooms. The pianist was fun and entertaining.
Breakfast was ok, but on the 2nd day they only had one poor staff member doing everything and had run out of a large amount of the breakfast offerings.
Location was good and Cirencester is a lovely town with great shops and pubs etc
Didnt feel very welcoming as i had to go to the theatre next door to ask how to get a member of staff to check in. The lady kindly phoned and eventually a young member of staff booked us in. She explained they had an event on and she was doing both jobs.
Food was ok and staff were pleasant. Room was small but had all we needed. I felt it was a little over priced.
Great hotel, at short walking distance from the center. The room was on the small side but very cosy, quiet and very clean. The breakfast was excellent (choice from a menu), even though a bit slow. The car park right in front of the hotel is very convenient. There is a Piano Bar and the resident pianist/singer was great. Not a problem for us, but in case of mobility issues one might want to ask a room close to the reception as there are many stairs to reach some of the rooms. Would definitely go back.
Nothing.
Chambre et salle de bains spacieuses.
Jolie décoration.
Produits Rituals dans la douche
Personnel peu présent même si joignable
