Uns hat der Aufenthalt im Hotel sehr gut gefallen, sehr empfehlenswert.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und hochwertig. Obwohl das Hotel direkt an einer Hauptstraße liegt, ist es in den Zimmern ruhig (Dreifachverglasung). Nach hinten raus kann man auch gut bei geöffnetem Fenster ruhig schlafen.

Cons:

Der Name des Hotels ist etwas verwirrend (es gibt keinen Strand). Es fehlen Wanderwege direkt am Hotel, z.B. für einen Abendspaziergang.

Letzlich zu teuer
Pros:

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Das Haus hat einen sehr schönen Biergarten. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und nach hinten zum Feld hinaus und daher ruhig (s.u.). Letztlich waren es nur ein paar Minuten bis Lüdinghausen mit dem Rad. Lüdinghausen ist ein sehr nettes Städtchen.

Cons:

Der Biergarten liegt leider an der Einmündung zweier vielbefahrener Landstraßen. Das machte den Aufenthalt draußen nicht sehr angenehm, was man versuchte mit Musikbeschallung des Biergartens auszubügeln. Kein sehr taugliches Mittel.
Das Personal, ausgenommen Reinigungspersonal, war nicht sehr zugewandt. Wir haben nur am ersten Abend dort gegessen, weil meine Reklamation nicht ohne Kommentar aufgenommen wurde.
