Perfect stay, super clean, nice pool!
Pros:

Excellent stay at Matcha Lanta resort! Very clean, quiet, and affordable. The staff is super nice, and helpful. We were welcomed as royalty. Beach is 100m close, and 7 eleven as well. You have at least 3 restaurants providing excellent food, less than 5 mins walk. Perfect location, in the middle of the island, and beautiful spot. We’ll be back!

Nice but let down a little
Pros:

Rooms showers and beds we good it’s nicely set

Cons:

The beach is not great and dirty. Unfortunately the owner had a serious accident the day before we arrived that meant that the pool was unclean and closed (a major reason why we booked) they said we could use other pools on the village but these were to far to walk

Relaxing and fun
Pros:

Terrific place, looked new and was very clean. Also amazing extras as a goog laundry service, scooter rental and quick communication through Whatsapp. Would highly recommend!

Pros:

Sehr hilfsbereite und seriöse Besitzer. Managen alles bestens zum Vorteil der Gäste zu Guten Preisen. Sauber und komfortabel. Guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel per Moped zu erkunden.

Cons:

Kein direkter Zugang der Anlage zum Strand.

Pros:

Tout était parfait.

Les équipements sont conformes à la description, la literie très agréable, l'emplacement idéal à mi chemin entre le nord et le sud de l'île, et surtout les propriétaires sont adorables et de très bons conseils. Le fait qu'ils soient français est très confortable !

Nous sommes hors saison donc la météo est changeante et quelques activités sont peu ou pas proposées. Mais il y a bien peu de touristes, ça vaut le coup !

Et si comme nous vous ne souhaitez pas conduire de scooters, il y a toujours une solution, il suffit de demander.

Cons:

Je citerai simplement le chant du coq et l'appel à la prière de la mosquée voisine qui peuvent vous réveiller au petit matin si vous avez le sommeil léger. Mais une paire de boules Quiès et c'est réglé !

Nous avons passer un séjour exceptionnel. Propriétaire adorable et disponible.
L’ensemble du site est très bien entretenu, propre et très agréable. Tout est mis en œuvre pour que vous passiez un bon séjour.
Bon restaurant à proximité.

Pros:

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour au Matcha Lanta Resort. L'établissement est très propre, calme et idéalement situé à quelques pas de la plage. Le personnel est accueillant, souriant et toujours prêt à rendre service. La chambre était confortable et bien entretenue. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande cet hôtel à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour agréable et reposant à Koh Lanta.

Great value for money
Pros:

Such a comfortable stay and great value for money. The bungalow was very nice and tidy and very spacious! The whole resort was designed very well and you could tell a lot of thought and care was put into it. Reception staff will also help you book transfers and they are much cheaper than doing it through apps.

Cons:

I had an ant infestation in the bathroom one day, but heard it was pretty common around there. Area is still developing so not much happening in the evening, especially in low season.

Great place with nice owners
Pros:

Very sympathetic place. Nice owners. They are French and have the best tips to enjoy the island. We rented motorbikes and they gave good tips where to go.

The bungalows are very clean and recently renovated. Very well isolated so no mosquitoes inside. The swimming pool is lovely, just as the garden.

The beach is very close by (one or two minutes walk) and it is an especially beautiful stretch. See picture. 7-eleven is just around the corner.

Breakfast is good, they bake American pancakes and have croissants. I’m always happy when there’s granola and not just cornflakes.

All in all very good value for money and a very pleasant stay.

Cons:

Nothing. I read some complaints about the sound of the mosque but we slept right trough it.

Me and my partner loved our stay matcha we would come back if we could!!
Pros:

The room was lovely, spacious and clean. The pool area was super nice and it felt really like you were in nature but still in a good location, near to the beach but also near to lots of restaurants and bars.

Cons:

The only bad thing was the wifi wasn’t great.

The best part of the stay was the location, but that area has a huge range of options at a much lower price.

The owners of the accommodation wouldn't let me cancel my reservation (with more than 24h in advance) without charge, even knowing it was due to a flight cancellation because of the war in the Middle East. They told me that Booking.com only allowed cancellations 14 days in advance. However, I discovered an option on the app that allowed me to cancel without charge if the accommodation permitted it. I tried again and they refused.

The breakfast is poor for a country like Thailand (western breakfast), with few options and the same options every day!

I asked if they had mosquito nets in the room or some kind of incense-type repellent and they told me to buy some at 7-Eleven for only 20 baht. For the price we paid, I didn't think that was a friendly response.

For me, it's an accommodation I wouldn't recommend.
