The location is amazing, right across from the beach and walking distance to lots of things.

It was clean and comfortable for an overnight stopover

Cons:

No kettle or coffee maker in the room. Also no hairdryer. We were only there for one night so it wasn’t a big problem.

Pros:

Close to beach, cool ocean breeze, comfortable bed, clean rooms

Cons:

It took a long time, almost 15 mins to get hot water for a shower and same as in sink. The faucets were reversed.

Cons:

Very dated , needing a serious facelift, properly is 75 years old. Owner only does patch work, needs some love and care to this once proud property.

Excellent value, comfortable beds. No AC but they provided 3 fans in the room and it was fine.
Pros:

It was very clean and the location is incredible. The fridge is an adorable mini 50s style Frigidaire

Cons:

The wallpaper in the bathroom had a couple of old mildew stains.

Charming old-style beach motel across the street from East beach
Pros:

Perfect location across from the beach, with tables and lounge chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view. Pleasant pool. Rooms nicely cleaned every day.

Cons:

A few amenities are missing like a hair dryer, a coffee machine, and a microwave (in a shared space?) and mainly fine curtains for privacy. Certain areas of the hotel have a lot of items stored between buildings and look messy.

The bed was comfortable.
The staff was pleasant and informative.

Cons:

Booking.com screwed me with a hidden clause that locked me into a non-refundable agreement. After a further review of lodging options I wanted to change locations but found out I was locked-in.
Even the staff was apologetic for the entrapment.
