Cosy et sympa
Pros:

Un bel hôtel confortable, avec une décoration très cosy et un personnel très attentionné
Belle chambre spacieuse avec terrasse
Piscine chauffée, température impeccable, beaucoup de transats

Cons:

Un peu éloigné du centre et en hauteur : faisable sans problème à pied mais avec les valises je conseille de prendre un taxi
La cuisine est assez quelconque : nous avons été un peu déçu de ce côté là
Le bar est squatté en fin d'après-midi/soirée par semble t'il des habitués qui font beaucoup de bruit. De même que la piscine, qui n'est plus du tout tranquille à un moment

I thought the staff were very friendly and the room was always kept very clean.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. It was a long walk up a steep hill to get to the hotel and the traffic was a bit noisy during the day but otherwise location was good.

Cons:

Wi-Fi kept dropping out. Shower head could have been a bit larger.

Lovely hotel 15 mins walk from the town
Pros:

Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to ensure you had a great holiday. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

We were lucky enough to have great weather but our room was facing the sun all day so was very hot, even with the fans provided.

Very nice
Pros:

Spacious rooms. Nice location, outside the city center (10 minute walk). There's a swmming pool, which I did not use though. A laundry machine is available, which I gladly made use of.

Cons:

No air conditioning, but just a fan. Maybe I got unlucky by getting here at the warmest day of the year, but otherwise, in this day and age, an airco is just a must. Sleeping was a challenge, because I had to sleep with the fan on, which is never ideal.

Thank Goodness for the swimming pool!
Pros:

This was the second time that we have stayed at La Collinette and again it did not disappoint. There are some very good reasons for staying at this hotel, particularly the amazing outdoor swimming pool and the very good breakfasts. I would also highlight the very helpful and friendly staff who will do everything to make you feel welcome. For example there was no hesitation when I asked if my case could be taken to the room for me and they also brought tea to the seated area close to the pool.

Cons:

During our stay there was a heatwave and it would have been helpful if there had been sun umbrellas around the swimming pool as there was absolutely no shade. On that note, our room was stiflingly hot. It was also very difficult to flush the toilet as the flush button was wedged into the left hand side and you needed to press hard at least 3 times to get it working.

Attractive, family run hotel with delicious breakfasts and lovely staff
Pros:

We received a warm welcome from Weronika on arrival and she and the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient throughout. Cyril gave everyone a warm welcome behind the bar, which was quite busy most evenings but with a good atmosphere and not noisy in our first floor rooms. The hotel had a nice family feel to it and the breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious. We asked for a packed lunch instead of breakfast the day we were going to Sark and the sandwiches were fresh and tasty. The rooms were spacious and clean and we sat on the terrace in the sunshine near the pool a couple of times.
The walk into town was pleasant through Candie Gardens and we appreciated the peace and quiet of the location.
All in all, it was an excellent visit, we were very impressed with the presence of the managers throughout and attention to detail from the staff.

A very pleasant stay in a very satisfactory hotel

A pleasant hotel with comfortable accommodation, good food and pleasant staff. The pool was a bonus.

It is a good walk and steeply uphill on the way back from town. But good exercise.

Just wonderful.
Pros:

La Collinette was wonderful. Located just a short, pleasant walk from the harbour, ideal for getting around without a car.
It was spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent and sensibly priced.
All the staff were so pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
I would recommend a stay here to anyone that visits Guernsey.

Cons:

It was perfect, there was nothing to fault.
This is no 3 star hotel. I would rate it 5 star.
